This is my new favorite place, what a pleasure to have gotten a 90 massage from Magpie. She was so kind and welcoming and her technique was perfect. We stayed at the Palace and the rooms were CLEAN, well maintained and quite beautiful, and all have a giant bath in each room! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Especially Clay. Parking was not an issue at all, I can’t wait to come back!

Could be a great place, if it were managed well. Only a small electric floor heater on a 28 degree night!Combo heat/ac window unit was broken with a post-it "do not use' note attached to it. Broken electrical socket next to bed.Coffee maker was still dirty with some kind of residue in it.And there.is no available parking for tenants, only "loading/unloading" to get your luggage into you room. You have to search around town to find your own parking and then pay a shuttle to cart you back to the hotel!Rooms: Poorly maintained and in a state of disrepair.

Regrettably, our eagerly anticipated stay at the Palace Resort and Spa took an unexpected turn when my wife contracted COVID-19 ahead of her birthday celebration. I promptly contacted the resort, expressing our situation and the need to postpone rather than cancel, considering the uncertainty of our small business schedule during these challenging times. As we run a small business, we faced staffing concerns that made it impossible to determine our rebooking schedule at the time.Despite my proactive approach and understanding of the resort's policies, the response was disheartening. The explanation of losing our deposit due to the cancellation policy felt rigid, especially considering the unique circumstances surrounding health and safety. As a business owner myself, I recognize the importance of rules, but I also believe that, in today's health climate, businesses should embrace guests' responsible actions to prevent potential exposure to others. In the end, the lack of flexibility left us disappointed, and we were left questioning the customer-centric approach we had hoped for. We understand policies are in place, but we expected a more compassionate response, particularly when facing unexpected health challenges. We hope the resort reevaluates its stance on situations like ours in the future."

Awful experience. Would not recommend. The people working there aren't available, the spa is only mineral water which is questionable, and rooms are old.

PRESSURED INTO PURCHASING A ROOM, NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL (STAFF NOR GUESTS) AFTER 3PM, LIGHTS TURNED OFF IN LOBBY AND PUBLIC AREAS, INADEQUATE HEATING, DIMLY LIT ROOM, CREEPY FEELING, UNCARING AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. My girlfriend and I were visiting Eureka Springs on a short get away from Dallas. We had booked an Airbnb for two nights which we were very happy with. On our second day in Eureka Springs, we popped by the Palace Bathhouse to check out the spa services and inquire about mineral baths. The front area was unattended, but eventually a woman greeted us. She gave us information about the springs in the town and spa services. As we were leaving she asked us if we would like to see one of their suites. Random, but we agreed to seeing what their "luxury suites" looked like. We told her we already had an Airbnb, but she insisted telling us how luxurious the rooms are and wouldn't hurt to see if we come back. She opened up suite 2 which is right on the first floor at the entrance, the windows are facing the sidewalk. As soon as the door opened, I felt a bad feeling or energy about the room. The room was dimly lit, one of bulbs was out in the overhead light. The decor and wallpaper was old Victorian and classy, but the room felt dark and cold. The bathroom was enormous and elegant with a deep, walk-in tub, had a large vanity, and could be romantic. We were told that given the slow season, we could have the room for $115 a night. We did not need the room and were very happy with the Airbnb we were already staying in and had no intentions of staying in a different place for the night. We didn't want to be rude and the woman working seemed very kind, but we did feel pressured into taking the room for the night. It was after 2:30PM, and we told her we would go get something to eat, talk about it, then come back if we wanted the room. She told us we'd need to decide quick because she was leaving at 3PM to see her son in Branson which created that sense of urgency when someone is trying to sell you something. My girlfriend decided to get the room. We were given two keys and the front door passcode. We were told if we needed anything, the phone number to the owner was on the wall behind the front desk which was strange, but didn't think anything else about it. We left, had lunch, then came back an hour later. The Palace Bathouse was locked, so we used the passcode, then found the entire hotel to be empty (no staff, no guests). The only light in the lobby were two small lamps and light from outside which was getting dark. We went in the room, but it felt extremely eerie, the energy was weird, the only heat source for the room was a small, electric space heater in the front corner of the room. It felt extremely uncomfortable, truth be told "haunted" and we were the only people in the entire building and all the lights were off. We quickly left. (OH F*#K NO). The next morning we returned before 11AM with the keys. I told the man at the front desk about the experience and asked for a refund because we didn't even use the room as well as explained we didn't need a room, already happy with our Airbnb, and were pressured into getting the room. I was told the cancellation requires a 7 day cancellation to get a refund, and since we used the passcode to the front door, staff leaves before 4PM during the slow season, and we could not get a refund followed by a condescending "Happy Thanksgiving." The charge for the room is being disputed for services not being rendered. We didn't need a room nor inquired about a room and it would've been nice to have been told no one else (guest nor staff) would be in the establishment during our stay. This complaint is not about being an upset customer or just experiencing bad customer service. This review is about failure to do the right thing considering the situation. DO THE RIGHT THING NEXT TIME WITH YOUR GUESTS.

My husband and I did “the works” package. When we arrived I realized this hotel was definitely built in 1901, it looked like it was about to fall apart, not very clean at all. We did our bath, which is a “mineral bath” but nothing was in it, at least from what we were told. Just like warm bath no scent bubble nothin. The place was just so dirty and falling apart it was stressing me out. I couldn’t even open the door the handle broke right off. My husband couldn’t get out of his room the door also broke and we couldn’t get him out. They walk you from station to station in only a towel in the freezing cold. Only good thing I can say is magpie did my massage and it was awesome 10/10. Otherwise, very uncomfortable and unsettling making it hard to relax.

Booked a couples massage for our anniversary and drove 3 hours only for this place to call us 45 minutes before our appointment and cancel our reservation. They offered no solution, nor a discount for a future massage or stay. Extremely unprofessional.

Angela was the worst masseuse I've ever had. I told her to stop touching my injured lower back so many times that her continuation to do so bordered on assault. I have a back injury. I marked on the pre-massage form that I didn't want to be touched in my lower back area due to an injury. I told her about it before we began and said i would really like it if you concentrated on my head, feet and hands, and that i was really excited for the facial. Then I told her SEVEN times to stop touching me in my lower back during the massage. She told me,"I know I keep going into that area, but I feel compelled too." I was hurt, she was making it way worse, and I was terribly uncomfortable. I finally told her the fact that I keep telling you not to touch me there, and yet you continue to do so is really stressing me out. Then she was offended and acted hostile. She slapped clay on my face, without any type of massage, barely touched my head, feet or hands, and then only wiped half the clay off. The rest of the massage was absolutely terrible too. It was jerky and too rough in the wrong areas. I will never, ever, step foot in this hotel/spa again.

We went on a girls trip to Eureka and had a spa day. 4 of us did “the works” package with very different experiences. The bath soak was first. And although the girl was nice no information was given at all other than, we will knock when it’s over. No explanation of the “mineral bath.” The tub was full and water was not warm so couldn’t run enough to warm it up. Then to the steam thing. Again, no explanation. Your head sticks out the top and body is inside. Didn’t realize I could fit my head in to steam face until done and also didn’t know there were steam tubes that could burn. My massage was great, although again no questions were asked and appeared the sheet I filled out wasn’t read. 2 of my friends had horrible experiences, skin on fire from putting peppermint on face, complete lack of regard for lower back injury. Massage therapist was told repeatedly to avoid lower back and told her “I just can’t help it, I’m drawn to it” another friend ended up with an incapacitating migraine because mint was placed under nose without permission. Neither of them had hand, feet, or scalp massages like 2 of us did. 2 of us had great massages and 2 were terrible and actually caused damage.also upon check out lady was not professional, she had no idea who do our massages and we tried to remember names she continually told us we were wrong, had to bring them out to see faces and turns out all of us were right after she was rude and made us feel stupid Due to inconsistencies I would not recommend this spa or return.

Thank you for making it right. They did take care of me and refunded the difference I paid for my stay. The stay was great. Had a wonderful time on our 10 year anniversary trip. The only problem we had was pricing. The website state my room was 133 a night. When I show up I see I am getting charged 199 a night. I asked and was told “ that is what is is because of weekend”. I did not see anything on the website that stated that it excludes weekends. I didn’t even get my military discount. So I would recommend that you book online to secure your pricing.

Although it has been many years since I have visited this place, but this is history galore! Even the lobby has a player piano and a player organ! I think the piano plays a march. The bathing area has several tubs that don't have showers. For transportation, it is very close to one of the Eureka Springs transit routes.

Hotel was....different. Small town feel with ritz crackers, a can of coke and ginger ale and 2 bottles of water left in the fridge as an accommodation, I thought it was cute but individually wrapped Ritz crackers that you'd usually see with Soup, thought it was funny. Doors to hotel lock at night so you need a code to get back in if you're out late, make sure you get the code. Our room had unique antique furniture and a giant jacuzzi hot tub that I bet rattled the entire building when we turned the jets on. Pretty sure it's haunted but came to that decision on my own before learning that Eureka Springs is known for it's haunted locations. If not haunted, it's certainly spooky. Bath house is an experience, I think it's a little over priced for the Bath but massage was appropriate price. Hoping they pay their attendants well because they were so nice and accommodating. Best massage I have had in a while. Call many weeks in advance if you want a weekend appointment

Beautiful place. It was a lovely vibe. The decor, music, and plants everywhere are just the perfect touches. The mineral bath was so relaxing and the tubs are very large. The steam was a unique experience that I enjoyed more than I thought I would. My massage therapist was wonderful. She surveyed my body and focused on my tight muscles. She gave advice on how to get my muscles in better shape. They staff was SO FRIENDLY! They were all so pleasant, and kind. They honestly made the experience amazing. Highly recommend. Definitely want to come back!
