The man in the store was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason. The clothes are overpriced, tacky material, and frankly ugly styles. the reviews that say otherwise are flat out lying!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

As you can see on most of the other reviews, the owner is a total clown (Or employee, not sure what role he is officially.) He yelled at my 5 and 6 year old for walking/jumping on the clear square sidewalk that goes over Hugo's. We had just eaten at the table under the sidewalk moments before and they thought it was cool looking. Hugo's of course was incredible. He claimed my 5 and 6 year olds were disrespectful for jumping up and down on the sidewalk. If you're wondering if the owners have attempted to be better since your last interaction, they haven't. They are worse. Yelling at a 5/6 year old not even inside his shop is wild. If you're wondering why he had time to yell at some little kids it's because there were zero customers. There's a lot of nice places to shop in Fayetteville. This isn't one of them.

Perfect place to purchase jewelry!! I am on a budget and the owner happily showed me a very beautiful blouse which I purchased along with my one of a kind necklace. I think I found my favorite place to shop..

Everything that Benton pulled for me to try on was great! He is an excellent stylist.
I see the comments from others about being asked to not stand in front of the shop, I dont believe that warrants a 1 star. I think that is just spiteful. If you want to lollygag in front of a store, don't do it here. If you want to buy beautiful clothes at great prices, then this is the place!

Unbelievable experience here. I was with a group of people after eating at Hugo's. We were talking and looking at the clothes and the owner came out and very rudely told us to move out of the way to not black the entrance to the store. There easily could have been a way to say that in a kind and professional manner but this was not how he did it. The comment was extremely rude and snarky especially considering that there were no other people in the vicinity. Will definitely not be shopping here in the future. 10/10 don't recommend. This kind of attitude is not what Fayetteville represents.

My wife and I were waiting to try Hugo’s next door and it was very busy. I needed to go to the bathroom so I walked in and asked the owner if they had one, thinking it would be less of a line. The owner told me no - I then asked what places did. He told me Hugo’s next door or the hotel across the street. I said thank you and turned to walk out. That could’ve been it but then he had to rudely yell on my way out to tell me “this is a retail store, we don’t have a public bathroom!!!” I then am waiting outside of Hugo’s and just like all these other comments, watched him come out and yell at two guys waiting outside Hugo’s to move from the entrance. One it is rude, and two nobody is shopping at your store anyways!

Today 12/2/2023 at approximately 14:00hrs., I was standing outside this store waiting on my partner, who was inside shopping. A gentleman came out of the store and asked me not to stand in front of the store because it discourages people from shopping in the store. I then advised him that I was waiting on my partner to finish shopping. He didn’t care and asked me to move from the front of his store. I went inside and my partner and I left the store. As we were leaving, we noticed several females standing in the same area, I was just asked to leave from. We observed them for approximately 10 minutes as they were standing and talking in the same area I was just asked to leave from. I found the store employee rude and disrespectful. My partner waited until the ladies left the area and returned to the store and spoke with the employee who had asked me to leave. She inquired why I had to leave yet others were allowed to remain. He immediately went into the “I am a gay man. I am not prejudiced.” NO ONE brought up his sexuality but him!!! He still had no explanation of why I had to leave yet others were allowed to remain!!! I will let you draw your own conclusions! I just know we will never visit that store again! Merry Christmas!!!!

Out shopping and ran into my old football coach from hs that had moved to Fayetteville. As we were talking the store owner asked us to not stand in front of his store. He had no customers and I understand why. Very rude!!!Me and my wife,daughter, and college age granddaughter shopped every other store in downtown Fayetteville, but never here.

The owner and the other gentleman working there were extremely friendly and incredibly helpful! They listened to our style wishes and found appropriate things for us to try on. Their variety of styles are amazing (love my new micro suede blazer) , some great shoes (I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on my patent loafers) and great vintage jewelry! I highly recommend them! Please give this place a try!!

I really like the selection of this store. You can find nice sweater for $45 or cool leather jacket. I bought a really rare necklace. The owner and his partner were very helpful. I highly recommend it!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The owner of the shop is shockingly rude and confrontational. I would never ever give money to this business based on the way the man who owns this shop and treated me and my daughter.

We were standing waiting for Hugo's next to his store trying to get out of the rain and the owner came out yelling at us telling us we can't stand near his store. Even after explaining we were just trying to stay dry he demanded we leave.
