My 88 yr Old mother passed out after a walk today I had to call 911 and they sent an ambulance over. The two guys, Josh and Lance went away above average in treating my mom. They were extremely kind and professional and stayed until they were absolutely sure she was OK to stay at home and not go to the hospital. They treated her with such respect and kindness, and I want to thank them personally for treating her and let you know she is doing well.

Central EMS was wonderful when my husband was ill. The EMT's were helpful and efficient. A Central EMS membership was one of the best investments I ever made.

Used their “services” for my child and got a $1600+ bill with no explanation or detail. $1200 just for them to show up and not now how to operate any of their equipment that the volunteer firefighters had to show them how to use. Average for Arkansas is $500-875 not $1200. $450 for 14 miles down the road of just transport. Average in Arkansas is $17.5 per mile not a $23.5 premium. Called their office for an explanation of the bill as the charges were generic and receptionist was rude. Would highly recommend going with a different EMS service as their prices are way higher than the competition and the knowledge and service just doesn’t justify. I would feel safer with a Uber driver over their EMS services. Highly recommend using another service over them.

EMTs were great. Billing is an absolute nightmare. I had to call them many times before someone would actually send the claim to my insurance. When they finally did send it, my insurance asked for medical records but central ems never sent them (claiming they didn’t receive the request). I had to have my insurance company conference call their billing department to make sure they got the request. On the phone they told me they don’t have enough employees to deal with insurance claims. Hire more people? This company is at best completely mismanaged and making it the patient’s problem or, more likely, purposely obstructing the insurance claim process to
force patients to pay out of pocket under threat of being sent to collections.

Pressure tactics to get in the ambulance. 3 separate ambulance rides due to some hospital error and charged for all 3. Central EMS gets 1 star for the few excellent fronts (the real ones) during a different matter. -4 stars for back administration killing families (figure of speech) with bills that are out of reach. Not sure how to cover 4000 dollars. To anyone reading…drive, walk and/or help yourself to help. I’m sure I’m now screwed.

My grandaughter and I was involved in a terrible accident involving a hit and run driver, the paramedics that responded were so very compassionate, thorough and caring.

Central EMS paramedics were amazingly patient with our son who is autistic. Everyone was professional yet caring. Thank you for the service you provide to our community!

I was having a nose bleed that wouldn't stop. They only had to drive 2 miles round trip to pick me up (I live right by Washington Reg.) yet it cost over $1,000. It happened again a week later and still over $1,000 for a short ride. If I could have driven myself the 2nd time I would have because the price is outrageous. I understand paying more if they have to do an IV but the cost should be a lot less when they only have to drive 2 miles!

EMT's were amazing and provided great service. Could not have asked for better care during my emergency. This is a review of the billing and office employees. First of all they are not in network for any insurance company. They did bill my insurance, so it went towards my deductible, however there was no insurance discount. They offer a 15 percentage discount if you pay in full. I wanted to use Care Credit to take advantage of 12 month interest free payments. They told me they take care credit, however after multiple calls to both them and Care Credit, I found out they don't even though they told me they did. I feel like if you choose not to be in network for any insurance, the LEAST you could do is take a very popular credit card that every other medical provider known takes. Paying medical bills is difficult for most people. I feel like they should make it as easy as possible and let people pay anyway they can. Again, service was amazing. The "after care" is not great. By they way, Bentonville EMS was in network with my insurance a few years ago when I had to use them. Their cost to me was a 1/3 of what Central EMS billed me. Too bad Fayetteville doesn't have their own ambulance service like other cities in the area.

Responding people chose not to listen to me. Chose not to note in report that my doctor said to get to hospital ASAP. Office people would not work with me. Medicare gave me rate they would pay. . W when notice was given we would get stimulus money they offered to settle for that amount. Hmmmm if your old get someone else to take you to hospital, they are dishonest in office.

Wonderful service by the attending EMS personal. However management and billing are atrocious failures. Worse administrative service I have ever had concerning ambulance transportation since being on Medicare. Be very cautious about accepting their assistance. Better off calling a friend or dragging yourself by whatever means to the closets hospital. Have the local fire department load you in a vehicle and have a friend or relative drive you. Surprise billing/balance billing, denied medicare claims etc. No response from their administrative billing department when requesting information to file a medicare appeal. Be very cautious. They caused me to have a surprise bill of $1298.62 for an ambulance service, transportation to hospital, that has always been covered in the past by Medicare. They actually refused to bill Medicare until I called them and threatened to report them for Medicare fraud due to lack of billing Medicare before billing me. Obviously their desire to receive full payment rather than accept the medicare approved amount is what drove their billing decision and coding for this service. As I said they absolutely refuse to communicate with you once they have made a decision. Without their billing statement information your Medicare appeal will be denied due to lack of necessary supporting information!!!!

The medics that attended to me at my apartment in March 2022 should be investigated and fired but the 2 gentlemen that took me after my hospital visit from hell to st Mary’s in Russellville we’re incredible and king an didn’t judge me. Fayetteville Arkansas has become a hard place to be disabled and I became Sick and injured at a young age. I’m a 35 year old man and have lived here my whole life and I am traumatized bye what is happening in Fayetteville and the ego that is getting innocent people ? hurt. Makes me sad and I know I have made mistakes but I truly have heart and do care. Fayetteville is breaking my heart Honestly
