Usually great experiences I'm a regular customer. This time was not so great.no communication on what I would like. I attempted to say how the last lady did my hair. And this stylist had the nerve to say. That takes to long. Not a great start and the cut is so wrong I'm not very fussy. I also am not so happy with this stylest. Oh I have short hair. And will take to long. WOW!!

We went in for 2 haircuts, asked for senior discount got it, all good up to this point. My total for two haircuts was $36 and change. I hit the $7 dollar tip and the machine applied the tip, only it did it twice. I asked the girl who rung out the transaction “did I click the $7 tip twice?” She said just hit submit. I did, but ended up paying $50 and change because there was a $14 tip applied. I wouldn’t mind tipping almost 50% of the overall total, but if I am asking for a senior discount it’s because we are retired and on a budget! The machines are set up to apply the tip per haircut so be careful!! They did however give me a $7 refund 2 days later without hesitation. I won’t be going back, only for this reason, Hence the reason for the one star rating,

Took my daughter go get her hair cut. Horrible experience. As soon as she sat down, one of the other male customers had left. Once he left, his hairdresser was complaining to the other hair dressers about how he wanted his hair cut. Then she proceeded to complain the music over their sound system not being the “vibe” and someone changed it. I sat there waiting for my daughter to finish so we could leave. I could not believe how unprofessional this location is. In the car my daughter let me know her experience was not the best, the hairdresser didn’t part her hair straight, then cut her hair to frame it( my daughter told her she didn’t not ask for that) and her hair is uneven. Shes upset as she has prom next week and was going to wear it down straight. I would recommend going to another place as who knows what they will say about you when you leave or if your hair cut will be even. I would have went back in but after hearing how they speak about their customers I figured writing a review would be best. Waste of $25 bucks as now I have to take her to get it fixed before prom.

Misty and Kayla were the only ones in the store at the time. I showed up at 6:30 with a very long wait ahead. I was informed d 40 minutes or so which would’ve been closing time (7:00pm) but they still welcomed me with open arms. I got in got a much needed hair cut in a very timely manor and the cut itself looks great! I will say Misty is an amazing cosmetologist and Kayla will be on Dickson very often and frequently after her shift she enjoys The Dickson very much!Overall great experience, if not the best social experience I’ve had getting a hair cut! If you’re looking to laugh, get some of the best hair cuts around, staff is amazing, and do a fantastic job at bringing customer satisfaction and experience to another level! BEST SALON/HAIR SHOP IN NORTHWEST ARK BECAUSE OF MISTY, KAYLA, and possibly J Money!If you go make sure to ask for one of those three they are amazing!

I'll preface the review by saying I had quite a varied experience, so this will be a long-ish one.First, the bad. I had used the app to check in online as to secure my spot in advance per usual. I was running a little behind and got there later than I had anticipated. I go in the door, and I don't see my name on the cue and there are 8 other names on there with a 37 minute wait. I asked about that and they said that after an hour, the names drop off the list. I had never ran that late before and had never known about the cue removal. I apologized and asked if it would be a problem for me to be next, as they could see in their system I was previously in the cue and I had to be somewhere in an hour. A purple haired girl said that nothing could be done and that I would have to wait. However, informed by a girl named Hailey that the only thing she could do would be to call her manager to ask, which she did call, but the manager didn't respond. Hailey apologized for the inconvenience, but said I'd have to wait a bit for the other people currently there to be finished. Thankfully, there were only 2 other people in the actual waiting area. As I was taking my seat, the purple haired stylist, while she was working on a client, rudely said to me, "Maybe you should be on time next time." The 2 ahead of me got Hailey and another stylist and the purple haired one had already finished her client, swept, and refused to acknowledge me sitting there while she was done with an empty chair, not that I would have let her cut my hair after her comment. I felt her conduct was very rude and unprofessional, and it certainly was not appreciated. Hence, the lowered rating rating and review in general.Now to the outstanding portion. I got Hailey as my stylist. She apologized again for the inconvenience again, and I thanked her for her very professional attitude and great customer service. Throughout my haircut, she was very pleasant, funny, and kind. What's more she, she gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. She's the lone reason this rating is as high as 3 stars. She's a 10 star employee.In conclusion, be sure to ask for Hailey when you go in for an excellent experience and haircut. But, if you check in online, try to avoid being late at all costs unless you want to have some shade thrown at you by a surly purple haired woman.
