“Wedington Liquor has the best employees. I went in to get the festive drinks for Valentine's Day. On crutches, I asked location of our favorite beverages. The clerk assisted me. He went and found the drinks, and very nicely carried them to the register. I was very grateful for his assistance. Selection of the beverages there is extensive. I'd recommend Wedington Liquor to anyone. Stop by and check them out.”

“Stopped in here when I was staying at a nearby hotel. The workers were very friendly and asked us what kind of drinks we were looking for. When my friend told him she was looking to try local beers but wanted dark beer, he said he probably didn't have what she wanted but recommended a local brewery. We appreciated that he gave us some good info and didn't try to force a sale. We ended up leaving and going to the local brewery, but I went back later to get some cider and he remembered me and asked how we liked the brewery, and also recommended a good cider for me. It's a small store, but they had a good selection and I appreciated the personal interactions and recommendations. Prices were on par with other beer stores.”

“Every time I visit this store, the staff are friendly but professional, and the selection of liquor at this store is wonderful considering how small it is. Prices for certain items (wines, beers, some mixed drinks) may be slightly better at Harps, but the price & customers service at The Spirits Shop is unparalleled.”

This venue is such a gem, tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of Dickson St. but steps away from the action for any after party needs. “Every time I come here no matter who is working I am met with the best customer service. I will ask them how they are, and every time they always give legitimate responses that lead to great banter. I’ve been in customer service for a long time so I know how ridiculous people can be, so it’s been really great getting to know the various employees a little bit over time every time I stop by. They sometimes don’t always have what I want due to shortages or supply chain issues, but I will skip spirits down the road to come to this place because it’s worth it.”
