My story begins before Thanksgiving of 2024 I took my 1975FJ 40 in for a small little knocking noise and a small exhaust leak. It ran fine did not burn oil did not smoke started every time so I ask the person in charge if they would work on something this old and if they were interested and they said yes, without a doubt so four months later after me being incredibly patient and understanding, I finally had to get a little grumpy. I was ready to get my vehicle back. On numerous occasions throughout these four months, I was told it would be ready the next day or that week and each time it got pushed back because of so-called parts being ordered or mechanic was sick. There was always excuses why the vehicle wasn’t ready so it turns out that it had a cracked manifold and it’s hard to find the parts for that which remains to be seen. I’m mechanically inclined and I can do this kind of work myself, but having to work every day I did not have the time and was willing to spend the money to get someone else to fix it while in looking back I should’ve just done it myself. so the day before yesterday and today’s date is March 6 2025 went to pick my vehicle up because they said it was ready. I didn’t expect it to be perfect, but I didn’t expect what I found. The seats were covered in oil which I need to add was a brand new reupholster interior by the way ! There’s oil all over the front grill. It is a total mess. There’s oil all over the steering wheel and my floor mats are destroyed. Absolutely no professionalism or give a damn I start my tractor up. Yes, I said tractor because it sounds like a tractor barely got it home when I got out of the vehicle. It smelled like something was burning. I opened the hood the motor is covered in oil. There is oil coming out everywhere all around the head out of the intake it’s just running all over the place. It’s totally disgusting and frustrating. Still not sure if I’m not going to talk to my lawyer , but I’m not sure that I can because it’s an older vehicle but I am contemplating it! if you take your vehicle in this place beware just have zero expectations and you won’t be disappointed. If you expect anything quality or done on time you are completely going to be disappointed I highly recommend you not use this company and you go somewhere else! I might add my bill was 3,200 so I paid them for making it worse! The only reason they got one star is because that’s the only way they’ll let me post a review

Worse service ever. They had my car for 2 weeks. I get my car back it’s now running hot, making weird noises when I’m driving, and now my horn or any of the buttons on my steering wheel work. Terrible!

This Fayetteville, AR Midas store provided reliable information to help me assess and repair my 1993 GMC Suburban (admittedly, an older car), encouraging me to purchase the parts nearby saving me the carrying costs, providing a very experienced mechanic that found a drive line universal joint near failure that was missed earlier installing a new muffler, 4 new shocks, and two idler arms & bracket on the steering system which was causing extreme and worsening resonance vibrations that no doubt would have caused an accident eventually.

Mark and Christina are soooo helpful. I recently had some work done on my car and they went way above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Skilled mechanics too of course but it is the customer service that will bring me back. Amazing people.

I came in for my brake lights to be changed near the end of the day (my bad) but they were so gracious about it. AND they went ahead and got my lights changed out so fast! They wanted to make sure I didn’t get a ticket for having my brake lights out. As a female with no knowledge about cars, Midas did not take advantage of that and went above and beyond. I really appreciate the staff! Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
