They’ll charge you extra for not having an “approved lock” to force you to buy one of there’s and also $14 extra to pay over the phone. They have no one on the phone that actually resides within the same continent to talk to so make sure to eat at your local Indian restaurant for dialect prep before calling. But other than that my shit was in the same place I left it.

Migel was extremely helpful. I had a rental rate increase, but he helped me get it back down to what I was originally paying. I was planning on leaving after the month was up, but I will be staying for a while longer.
The units are nice, but the doors give you a nice workout, rolling them up and down. Facility is gated and requires a code to get in and out. Prices are decent
Edit: they will only work with you on the price once. After 6 months they increased my rate by $75, which is even more than last time. They won't even honor the price they have displayed online. I've been a customer with them for almost 2 years, so this is sad. Why would you loose a customer of 2 years who has intentions of staying longer just to get more money? You'd get more money from me if you would've kept the price the same

Great to use short term if you can snag one of their move in specials, but if you want to use long term, you’ll be looking at consistent rate increases every 6 months of 40-50% that they justify by saying it’s used for staffing (never seen anyone on site) and property upgrades (haven’t seen a single upgrade since I’ve been here). Sad to see a rate increase on a storage unit be more than an apartment.

My son received a late notice and notice to sell the items in his storage. My son passed away one month ago today. I called to try to retrieve his items. They were less than helpful! Hope they make use of the few items he would have had in there, as opposed to working things out where I could retrieve his few clothing items and pictures of his girls!
This franchise is the worst of the worst!

Sparebox Storage Fayetteville, AR is a big scan. I signed up for one 10 by 10 storage in November last year- This year in January ,I got a job in another state and needed to move out my two bedrooms house into a storage before settling down in another state. I then called the facility to have my initial 10 * 10 unit transferred to a 10*20 because I needed more space. After moving out all my things, I found out that I had a lot more things that I thought of so I decided to keep both units after the 72 hours window. The 2nd Unit was added to my account without insurance coverage without my knowledge. In late March, I got a call from a representative informing me that my uninsured unit was broken into and found wide open. I was out of town and I finally got back sometime around mid-April and what I found on site was alarming. My things were thrown on the floor, my boxes were torn and multiple luggages were stolen. Since there is no camera and security on site, I still don’t have any clue of what happened to my stuffs. I filed a claim to the police and the insurance to be reimbursed which was declined by the insurance company. Sparebox storage management never reached out to me for any explanation, they don’t care what happen to people personal belongings. I can’t wait to get some time off to go move my stuffs out of this terrible place. In my opinion, I believe this was an inside job that’s why they have been covered it up. I lost valuable things , not too sure what they were looking but I am grateful that my documents were untouched. I won’t recommend this company to anyone. Their management is a mess and the third party insurance is a joke, I had to call them every other week to follow up ( they never called back). Overall, they don’t treat people as human- Never wish this experience on anyone.
