I just used Avis car rental via Costco travel app. It was easy to find a great price with Avis and when I picked up and dropped off my rental car I found the Avis representatives to be friendly and professional. Only issue I had was my cell phone doesn’t use the usb port that was in the car so I did spend some time worried my phone battery would die before I got my 3 hour drive. My mistake for not checking the car prior to leaving. I would have picked up a charger that would work with the lighter or something.

We were double-charged a $200 deposit which totaled as $400 from our account. Everyone we spoke with from Avis said “2-5 business days, funds will be returned” when ironically, the deposit taken came out instantly. We eventually received our full deposit but it took a week plus calling and emailing each day.

Vehicle and pick up at the Fort Smith, AR Regional Airport location was fine. Issues arose at/after dropping the vehicle off. I received a receipt upon leaving that stated they had to put over 14 gallons of fuel into the vehicle, adding well over $140 to my bill. I know it’s a fraudulent charge as I filled the vehicle up less than a mile away, and the receipt was printed while the keys were still in her hand, and the vehicle had yet to be moved. After calling to address the issue I spoke with Jesus who was insanely rude. He consistently spoke over me and would ignore my questions and comments. He said the fuel is verified by a very accurate sensor in the fuel tank, I’d argue the opposite. The company refuses to provide any actual evidence of them refueling the vehicle, but insists I provide them with a receipt from the gas station. Now I am waiting to get in touch with the manager of the gas station to see if they can print a receipt for me. This is an insane way of doing business. I will be sure to mention all of this to my company as I can’t imagine how many times they have over charged us on a large corporate account without being checked on it. The area is limited in rental options but Hertz and National are only feet away from this booth, take your business there or at the very least document everything (not just on your rental slip, that’s worthless), and be prepared to fight them when they steal your money.

Location rented me a vehicle that had expired tags from 12/ 2022. Was randomly pulled over by Arkansas state police and was written a summons for expired tags. Never again would i think about renting from Avis let alone suggest my worst enemy. My driving record could be affected from this careless error on the local branch. Horrific experience I wish no one has to go through. When I returned to location to explain and hopefully get another vehicle as I was there for work, I was looked at like I was crazy and there’s no way that could have happened. If it wasn’t for the police officer at the airport confirming the tags were actually expired, the ladies in the front would have continued to deny they were expired. Almost laughable. #stayaway #rentfromenterprise

Convenience with a smile regardless the hour. Late night rental that honored our Amazon discount and was able to upgrade at the last minute too, even when we interrupted her break. That's true service.

Not good. Service at rental was poor. Rental application instructions were incomplete resulting in a delay resulting in a penalty.

The entire Avis crew were prompt, extremely helpful, and genuinely cared about their customers. Highly recommend if flying into FSM Regional Airport!

This Fort Smith location lied to my elderly disabled father and caused him $1200 for a rental car for only two days. Not only did the vehicle look bad at exterior and on the interior... The seats were literally so coded in dirt. They were supposed to be tan but they were brown. The smell in the vehicle was so bad I felt so bad for him, having to drive it for a long distance.They lied to him face-to-face at this Fort Smith Arkansas location saying he can pick it up at point A and drop it off at point B. But they made a mistake and it was supposed to be returned back to Fort Smith Arkansas, which was never disclosed. And he was informed that he can drive it to point B with no problem but that wasn't the case either and ended up costing a $1200 fee including taxes that he wasn't able to afford so I had to pay. Whether if it was an honest mistake from the Avis employee, or if it was just intentional, I will not ever let him rent with Avis car rental and I will defer anybody from doing so especially at this location

I'm a disabled elderly man and this place took advantage of me and robbed me of over $1000 which I will never use Avis car rental again and I'll make sure everybody knows about this!!! I spoke to a lady in person in Fort Smith Arkansas and she explained to me that I was going to pick up the car in Fort Smith Arkansas and I would be able to return the car to a Avis office in Costa Mesa where I was going to see my veteran son for the first time in a couple years. Not only was a car in poor condition. It smelt like s*** and the seats were coded in so much dirt and the steering wheel was disgusting along with everything was absolutely disgusting! Matter fact, we turned in the car in better condition than what it was when I received it. it was explained to me vividly by the lady in Fort Smith, Arkansas, that I was going to turn that damn car in to Costa Mesa and not Fort Smith, Arkansas. But it said differently in the email which is b******** I'm a 60 year old strokes, survivor, disabled man... how can I be expected to look at every single detail for Avis's mistake. Not my mistake. It was a Avis's mistake. SO I HAD TO PAY SOME DROP OFF FEE off 1200 after taxes!!! To top it all off I had to reluctantly ask my son to pay the bill because I couldn't afford it. I was barely able to scrounge of change for the Rent-A-Car by Avis in the beginning that lady lied to my face and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a Rent-A-Car and it damn near ruined my vacation.

i flew into fort smith airport to visit family, i picked up my rental the next day but was told i could've called & they would've waited for me, it worked out well getting it the next day, the whole process was smooth & easy, even when i returned the car at 5am, they left instructions on what they needed me to record on a piece of paper & i dropped it in a locked box, the gal that helped me Friday morning was helpful & friendly
