Not worth it do not buy they lied to me about having unlimited internet said the modem didn't work with the Internet , then started charging my 10$ for 50gb of internet it was ridiculous and the customer support just sent me around and around . My bill was post to be 50$ it is now 170$ there just money hungry!!!!

Outages all the time... horrible customer service...we pay our bill on time yet most of the time there are outages...oh and they apologize however we pay for unlimited Internet service...not happy switching to ATT anyone have any suggestions who in this area can provide reliable fast service...we are gamers...not only do we not get to play our games we pay for or watch any of the streaming services we pay for all because of Cox outages...I do not recommend Cox!!!

I’ve literally had cox internet for less than a month and I’ve had to already turn in one router because it wouldn’t work, now I got another router and it’s been dropping internet like CRAZY.If I put on a movie it drops internet at least 4 times throughout.I am so so annoyed. I’m going back to AT&T jfc

This review is specifically for the Cox store not Cox in general. I had several problems with my service over the summer and after 3-4 calls to Cox it was recommended I try a new modem. The nice lady on the phone said I could rent one from them for not much $ so I headed to the Cox store to pick one up. The friendly young man in the store was super fast and super nice. I was in and out in about a minute. Btw - the new modem fixed my problem so definitely happy.

I've used Cox for the last 15 years. The internet service has worked well until the past year. Once an issue arises, a Cox technician usually arrives (after a few calls) and quickly fixes the issue. This is great and reflects good technical knowledge.But getting that technician to come out is like pulling teeth. You have to either a) wait on hold for 45-60 minutes or b) deal with a chat with an outsourced customer service. Once this, they don't send a technician but a contractor. I respect the contractors trying to work a job but they are set up for failure and not given all the tools and keys to success. Two or three visits and phone call later they will eventually send someone out.The attempts to save a nickel and is costing a dime. The day WAVE internet comes to my area, I'm done. The leadership philosophies of this company has lead to this outsourcing and poor service.

There is nothing particularly wrong about this COX establishment that I’m reviewing and there is nothing wrong with the employees or staff at this location that I am aware of, but I would certainly be warned to stay away from purchasing COX internet services as a whole. It’s overpriced, unreliable, and has outages constantly. The internet speeds are probably the one positive to it but it doesn’t matter if it can’t stay on for longer than 15 minutes at a time. It may also be some of the fastest speeds the entire town has to offer commercially for some incredibly odd reason, but it is undoubtedly the worst reliability of anything else you could get. We’ve had it for almost a decade since we moved houses and it has consistently been worthless. I have literally grown up with this internet and it has been a useless waste of money the whole time. Like having an older sibling who doesn’t work or provide anything of significance to the family but costs the household hundreds of dollars a month. The only reason we haven’t stopped giving this company our money is because we can’t settle for slower speeds. We are actively waiting for newer and better internet services to be offered from another company that better suits our needs. If I were a new customer, I would keep it in mind to never purchase internet services from COX and just stick to getting scalped for a likely overpriced phone bill if it’s anything similar to their internet.. I hate this company with a burning passion.

Deserves less than a star for it's terrible service. Constantly out which doesn't make sense for the ridiculous prices they make you pay. Customer Service line is also impossible to talk to.

The absolute WORST internet service I have ever used. At least ONCE A DAY, usually WAY MORE, I experience an outage. How can anyone actually use the service? How can they actually charge for the service?

Horrible company to do business with. We called and shut our service off and continued to get billed from them. They stated that they never received a notice. Seems funny that they did the same thing to our daughter. So thanks cox for us getting to deal with your collection agency!

This is the worst company on the planet. They lie to you they lie to the contractors they send out. Yesterday they came to make my service work and was not ready with anything I ordered or willing to do the work I requested after setting up the appointment fir just what i had asked for. Then the tech they sent cut my line into 5 sections to splice it after the previous owners dog had mangled all the lines. He just left without saying a word and left all my lines just cut into pieces.

Let me just say. 90% of the day no Internet on Labor Day. Now here we are the next day, no Internet, i swear between them picking and choosing who they give good discounts to and the lack of connection you get versus what they advertise and charge you for, the constant outages etc etc. they sure don’t want to give you any kind of discount or anything of the sort for the inconvenience ??????

The people working at the local store are great but limited in what they can do. The actual internet service is pathetic. Constantly goes out anywhere from 3 times to 30 times a day. Can’t get no work consistently done at home. The Kids won’t be able to watch Netflix when wanted. Customer service thru the app or over the phone are completely worthless. The company Cox at the top could care less either. They know there aren’t many choices at our location. Very frustrating and can’t wait for more competition.
