In the last 5 years I have lived in 4 different cities and have always used CVS pharmacy without issue however this particular location has horrible service. They never have medication in stock despite knowing their customers will need upcoming refills. When you request a refill through their phone system they don’t receive your request and refill it. And I receive automated messages that prescriptions are ready and go to pick them up and they are not ready. This particular location is working their way out of business. I will be changing pharmacies.

I was in town from out of state and needed a med filled that had been back ordered at home. I went in person, because no one answered the phone, I requested the transfer. The pharmacist was rude and mentioned that they had lunch in 7 minutes, like I was putting her out when there was a good sized line to begin with. The tech took my info, said it could take 24 hours. A week later I'm headed home without that med ever being filled. My home pharmacy never got the request for transfer.
No wonder CVSs are Closing all over. They suck.

Wouldn't fill my prescription because I wanted to pay out of pocket. Some excuse about it being a controlled substance, the reality is they just want the money from the insurance and don't want to accept the discounted price from the GoodRX coupon, which is actually cheaper than the insurance. Bullshit.

This pharmacy sucks and one of the pharmacist does not listen at all. She will cut you off in mid sentence. I don't recommend this pharmacy at all to anyone. Better choices around the area

I have used cvs for over ten years and when I moved to greenwood the one in fort smith was the closest to me. I have always been given advice on meditation I take (side affects, warnings about taking certain medications together, etc…) but get them filled, but there’s a pharmacist, a very short Asian lady (Kan or Kim or some name like that) that likes to play doctor and will not fill prescriptions that she feels will impair me in anyway and will remove the medication from my list so no one else will fill it. I really don’t think a doctor would prescribe medication not knowing what it will do (not to mention that I have been taking these medications for 13 years) I believe that they have an obligation to at least call the doctor if they have a concern before just refusing to fill it. I have to figure out when she is off so I can get them filled. This is the only gripe I have about this pharmacy. The pharmacy team has a hard job and are under staffed for sure so I try to be patient with them, but she should not try to play doctor when it comes to medications that a real doctor prescribes. Oh and customer support won’t help at all. I hate being on all these medications, but you get old, have multiple surgeries and need certain medications to get by. And this is only happening at the fort smith location, no where else.

I will never use a CVS pharmacy. My insurance is forcing me to use mail or CVS and I went to try to transfer prescriptions and the lazy workers want me to do all the work. They told me to call my doctors to get them to send prescriptions instead of them just contacting the pharmacy. I asked them to go ahead and put me in their system and the lady acted like I was putting her out. THIS PHARMACY IS TERRIBLE. DO YOUR JOB AND QUIT MAKING IT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

They do not even deserve 1 star. They have terrible customer service and even when they text you that a prescription is ready to pick up; when you actually arrive to pick it up; they ALWAYS tell you you will have to come back in 15-20 minutes. Their employees are always in a bad mood (I would be too if I worked here) plus; you can never reach anybody by phone. You have to leave a voice mail, but then nobody ever calls you back. It is an awful place. STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE THE OPTION.
