The Fort Smith Public Library (Main Library) is a beautiful two-story building. It features a big lobby, a used bookstore, a cafe, and multiple rooms for books. The library has a lot of space to relax and play, including dedicated teen and kids areas on the first floor with study rooms, couches, tables with board games and puzzles, and kids' play areas. Upstairs, there is a pretty good adult section with nice seating and computer stations equipped with multi-socket extension cords. The staff are amazing, very helpful, and friendly. They offer a lot of great activities for kids, teens, and adults. There are a lot of books to choose from, with works that are up to date. It is a very nice and quiet place, described as top notch and a great place to be.
Love the Fort Smith Library! Great location, beautiful building, and the staff is excellent. We love Wiggle Worms and Toddler Storytime and are excited to start going to the other activities that the library hosts.

I have been going to the Fort Smith Public Main Library since I have returned and have had a good experience with staff and especially love going to Dewey's Cafe. I am pursuing a doctoral degree, and have done other things there as well such as utilizing the Genealogy Department.
