Have a sinewhat rare foreign car. Went there to discuss options for my complicated auto problem with Mr. Koch. They listened and provided details about what my choices realistically were. Much more clarity on my choices then I received talking to a highly regarded auto shop on the east side of Fort Smith.

I HAVE NEVER. FIRST THIS MAN WHO Answered THIS PHONE TODAY LAUGHED AT ME. AS I just needed my oil changed and he really laughed at me. Because I sound country. I've never been laughed at for one in a mocking way. Second he was so rude saying I'm ignorant for not being able to change my own oil after we argued. And I even needed a diagnostic in the begining but that was shunned to mikes as he recommended. I just wanna say I have never in my while 65 years on this earth dealt with a more absurd joke of a man or company for that matter as I do not doubt that man who answer my calls today at 1030 has lost this business a great deal of money as I could not for the life of me get him to do any job needed. I get small towns people do fine but why have a shop and treat people so poorly. All I can think of is poop when I think of this business so I had my grand daughter Google poop pics and posted to this review. . I don't like cursing but if I did Lord they would get it. So yes I'll take my business not to who you recommend but elsewhere as this man did not give me the time of day. Only talking good about foreign cars while trashing my Ford. Sheesh I used to recommend this company but never again.

I wished I took the car elsewhere.
I came by first month of 2023, a Servomotor replacement, J quoted me, I agreed. It took couple weeks to fix it and then he called to say that the part is in but could not get it to work!? I said okay, well look into it some more then two weeks went by.
Had to tow it back and forth to BMW, weeks went by again when I got it to him and still he charged me to fix that one thing that he could not get it to work (servomotor) before I had to do towing due to a connection?? He screwed up somewhere and I paid out of pocket every time. Unbelievable. I subtracted 3 stars because of the long wait times, using glue for the valve cover gasket, and an alternator cable that was crimped poorly and not at least guaranteed or liability.
Tl;dr Servomotor replacement job turned into a starter replacement also at dealer and had to be returned to Koch because of him using a VDO motor, not genuine BMW part, and the last months of 2023 had crank no start issues because Koch Auto Repair’s crimping on a cable.

Absolute expert on hard to repair imports. The BMW engine in my mini is a bugger. They do great work. Slow turnaround though. And not the best on two-way communication.

I put a new battery in my 2013 outback. It wasnt running smoothly after that. Took it to koch and he told me to let it idle for 15 minutes to reset everything. I did and it ran smoothly. It was the only place that I took my volkswagons that I owned in the past. With this car that I just purchased I will be using them again if needed.

dropped the car off with plenty of problems and after 3 months the land rover was not fixed. the first day we discussed the plan and thought everything was clear. 5 weeks later we checked in and he said “i wasn’t sure if you still wanted me to work on it.” what?? he never bothered to call. complete waste of time. charged for $1500 for valve cover gaskets and had to tow home. they do not respect their customers time nor will they contact you about anything.Service: Auto maintenance

Bmw has been sitting at this shop for 7-8 weeks and when i called i was told “oh yeah we’ll put it back on the schedule for later this week”. Why has it not been on the schedule for the past 2 months? Very unprofessional, never answers the phone, and job will be completed on THEIR time.
