Unfortunately after 39 years of service, Stonewood is now closing permanently. Thank you for taking care of me and my family over the years.Stonewood has moved their prescriptions over to Prince Drug on 1112 Towson Ave. Hopefully this helps someone.

Great pharmacy. Pharmacist went above and beyond to get my sons’ prescriptions filled. Highly recommend.

The last two times I’ve needed a prescription filled for my babies,he stayed open late when no one else was open to make sure I got what I needed! Very personable unlike Walgreens and Walmart or other corporations! Support local and use Jim!

They didn't have the medicine I needed. He took my insurance card, sprayed it with disinfectant, and then wiped it with a dirty towel that he had slung over his shoulder. He told me not to go to Walgreens but let me tell you...Walgreens has never NOT had a prescription my family needed. I won't be going back here.

This was the public post my sister Staci Neu shared on Facebook after the kind gentleman helped her for my two year old baby niece. So tonight after I left the emergency room I knew I’d have to find a pharmacy that stayed open later than 6 and was open on a Sunday. I guess I just didn’t realize how HARD that would be. Lol. Anyway, my sister Brandi Johnson called me and suggested Stonewood village pharmacy and called them for me to make sure he could fill what Gracie needed. Anyhow he said he was just closing up but that he would wait on me. Long story short I called all to realize they don’t take our insurance! So I said “ooohhh no! Sir I don’t have a dime to my name at the moment, I won’t have any money until tomorrow.” So he cut $20 bucks off the original price and then suggested me to try out Anderson’s. I told him I already did and they wouldn’t work with me. So he took it upon himself to call and he told them they needed to fill my daughters eye drops, that she is two years old and in a lot of pain and cannot wait. Anderson’s said ok. They close at 10 o’clock and I made it over there about 10 mins after the guy from Stonewood called. It was 9:45. They LEFT!! And early at that! Seems they just didn’t want to help me, I don’t know. Anyway, I call this man back at Stonewood to see if he knows of anything else and he said “They left? Are you kidding me? Well I tell ya what honey, you just get that baby girl over here to my pharmacy building and I will fill these eye drops for you for free! Just get over here and we will figure it out!” This older gentleman, (THE ONLY NICE ONE I DEALT WITH ALL NIGHT) helped me get my babies numbing drops and antibiotics even though I had no money on me to pay for it and even though they didn’t accept our insurance. Isn’t that amazing? I am FINALLY home and resting with my babygirl in my arms, and I don’t have to worry about her not sleeping well and keeping me up all night, THANKS to ONE nice person!!! Thank you God for working on mine and my daughters behalf today! And thank you to the awesome man at Stonewood village pharmacy that went OUT OF HIS WAY to make sure my sweet girl was taken care of!♥️ I Now maybe we can get some much needed sleep!Comments left on the Facebook post were:Meridith Hartsock:I’m sharing this.Staci Neu:Meredith Hartsock yes please do!! He deserves the recognition!By Me Brandi Johnson who spoke with this man for my niece and baby sister:I'm sharing. He was so helpful and beyond precious! I will from now on suggest his pharmacy. If I wasn't already established with my own, I would go to him. However, if something were to happen to change my mind, I can say this, STONE WOOD WILL BE WHO I CALL! This gentleman was God sent!Whomever you are that helped, may blessing after blessing after blessing be upon you and your family! Thank you so much! I will recommend your pharmacy to everyone I know!P.sI'm sure there will be many many more comments as well!

The best Pharmacy in the River Valley. They go above and beyond to meet your needs. They will not enable any form of Pharmaceutical Abuse. Which is a crisis in this country. And their open nights and weekends. Very convenient for emergency situations that arise on Sundays. I love them!!

He is a great pharmacist the only problem is his hours. It is so hard when you have to be at work by 1 and don't get off until after he is closed. I wish he would open around 11. Maybe 11:45 would be okay. But sometimes he isn't there until 2 and I'm not able to pick up my medicine until my day off. Please Jim! Can we do something about the hours? You're a wonderful pharmacist!

The owner is super friendly. If you go by and the store is closed just give him a call and he will work for you. If you don't have insurance he can sometimes help you get a more affordable prices on prescriptions.

In my opinion there is no other pharmacy like Stonewood. Jim is very knowledgeable about the different effects of medicine and how well they go together. If your old school like me this is the place that is just that. I don't use anyone else.
