I have banked with First Security for over 20 years and never had issues at any other branch.
Other branches make you feel welcomed when entering. However, this branch makes you feel like an inconvenience. At any other branch, I would get a cashier’s check or money order at no charge. This branch decides to charge, in addition to making you feel like you are disrupting their social hour with their colleagues.
But wait, there’s more! If disappointment looks great on your face, then I highly recommend trying the ATM. It is as reliable and useful as a diaper on a dump truck—never functions and is surrounded by orange cones.
What kind of business model routes customers to the competition within a stone’s throw from their ATM?
Furthermore, as customers, we should never lower our standards and feel like breaking down with a happy dance outside our cars while throwing confetti into the air midday is the most appropriate thing to do. Only because the orange cones were lifted and no longer holding us from our hard-earned cash at the ATM… but we do.
I still hope this branch will pull it together one day. Just keep in mind that you are not the ‘one and only’ in this village. A newer, better, friendlier, and fancier version rests on almost every intersection. They don’t require additional fees for being pleasant or for a smiling face.
And if moving at a turtle’s pace is mandatory at your organization, may I kindly suggest that you make that a ninja turtle? Because contrary to your staff’s actions, my time and other customers’ time is just as (if not more) valuable than yours.
