“Came in to open an account and accidently embarked on a life-changing journey. The line moves at a pace that really lets you reflect on your goals, life choices (the questionable ones too), and whether you turned the stove off this morning or not- somehow though, it still keeps you on your toes the whole time.
The tellers? Incredible. By the time I reach the counter, my girl Carrie and I have already built the kind of bond that is usually reserved for old war buddies. If going thru the drive-thru works better for you, that's cool too! Nothing like trying to send important financial documents thru a tiny vacuum tube that launches your paperwork into the unknown like it's training for NASA. Every time I send it away, I feel a mix of trust, fear, and mild excitement, like I've just sent my life savings on a rollercoaster ride. But, I know Lakyn (you'll recognize her- she wears blue on Thursdays) has everything under control.
The waiting area deserves its own award- plenty of time to fully appreciate the chairs & popcorn. Plus, they have like every magazine ever printed! If you wanna go in just to sit and cry, well they have an employee for that.....my homegirl Seana BY FAR gives the best hugs you'll ever get.
Overall, 10/10 place & the staff makes banking here worth more than any amount of money you could deposit! :)”

“I’m not sure why all the negative reviews but the staff here in my experience are all five stars! Madeline and staff have always been prompt and courteous, and they are a credit to themselves and Bank OZK. On the other hand, the staff at the downtown branch are complete polar opposite. To include the new bank manager that they have. I am so tired of having to chase up a simple inquiry and being dismissed and blown off, not getting a response for weeks and weeks and then finally when I do it’s basically just an empty apology because they turn around blowing me off all over again! And then there’s the tellers who have an attitude whenever I try to inquire and visibly show frustration, which is not directly aimed at them, but I still get the attitude! This is unacceptable!! I will not be going to the downtown branch any more if I can help it. The uptown branch is my go-to and I will continue to do so. Bravo, uptown branch! See ya’ll soon! :))”
