I came in at noon and made a 2:30 appt. When I showed up at 2:20 I was greeted n asked what I needed. I mentioned my appt. I was left standing by the door for a bit as there was no seating available in the waiting area. I was then sat at a table n waited more. A lady came up, I explained what I wanted she said OK. She then grabbed her drill with dirty bits. I asked if it was clean she mumbled yes n pointed to the other bits sitting in a solution. After removing my get polish with a metal bit she then switched to a sanding bit. I could see it was worn out. Like not just dirty but worn down. I asked her to use a new one. At that point she gave me a dirty look, got up and started wandering around the whole shop talking in HER NATIVE LANGUAGE going from station to station.i thought she was looking for a new sanding bit. She wasnt, pretty sure she was angry at me for wanting CLEAN UTINCILES used one me. This lady had a bad attitude n frankly very heavy handed with that drill. Is she even licensed nail tech. Im not sure. After walking around talking to the other techs NOT IN ENGLISH she came back to me, turned off the light n walked back to the break room n NEVER CAME BACK NEVER SAID SHE WAS DONE, NOTHING. WALKED OFF LIKE CHILD TRHOUGHING A TANTRUM. I just moved here, I was here 4 days ago having a nail fixed. Where's that lady she was nice, respectful n USED NEW TOOLS on me. Ill never come back here n I ABSOLUTELY WILL BE CONTACTING THE COSMOLOGY BOARD TO REPORT THIS SALON. SEE PIX.

Used this place for many years. Recently they started moving so quickly that they regularly burned me with the drill and even nicked my finger with the drill making me bleed, laughing it off when I expressed pain.
After my last visit I decided to soak my own nails off with 100% acetone. I had a difficult time doing so I did a quick google to figure out why. My search indicated several signs of Magic Nails using a monomer known as MMA that is cheaper for them, but illegal for cosmetic use as its fumes/powders are harmful to breathe. Additionally, the compound dries too hard and is known for ripping peoples entire nails out which can lead to permanent nail loss. I reported them to the state cosmetology board for investigation but I don't think anything came of it.
I used to refer everyone to Magic Nails but now I warn them. They cut corners to make extra money, putting your safety, nail health, and comfort (burning/bleeding from drills) at stake.

walked in for mine and my daughters nail fills. The older lady with short hair and glasses was assaigned to us. we have dealt with her before. left a negative review. We tried again, we didnt want gel polish, just regular, she was mad and ripped the color swatch i was looking at off the table out of my hand. We left after i told her how rude she is. How is she still there, all her reviews are of her hurting people. Im going to be reporting them. We went to colorful nail intown. He was great and very kind. i recommend going there.

Walk-ins Welcome is a lie. They didn't have the staff and have to schedule you for a later time or date.

I have never posted a negative review before so I will be as professional as possible.
I nor any of my 3 lady friends who all went there yesterday will never recommend or go back we all had terrible experiences. I would never put 1 star because in the past when the gentleman owner was on-site my experiences were completely different. That's the reason i had..now regrettably recommended it to my friends.

My 13 yr old daughter came with her friend and grandmother, to get their nails done before the dance. I wish I would have been there! Over charged, didn’t give the girls what they asked for, the “nail tech” was rough with her, made her bleed! RUDE! Told her she will do what she wants, when THE PAYING CUSTOMER told her she did not want what she was doing and did not like it. I’m wondering if these people are licensed?! All around worst place in in town. The business meets every aspect of a poorly ran establishment. Not only are my daughters nails NOT FRENCH TIPS, key word “TIPS” and the red runs. You were harsh on her cuticles, rough, impatient with her, and they are crooked! My daughter “French tips” were $70?! (Which is laughable) though she told her it would be $45, when my daughter asked her why $70? She refused to answer her and said “whatever, it’s $70 now” WHAT? And her friends were $100! You lost at least 5 customers on two horrible nail jobs! We will not be spending our hard earned money, so we can pay you to practice doing nails. Get a degree and try again. And if you actually have one, I suggest extra hours!

I went in to get my acrylics off and get dip nails instead and the lady was rushing the whole process from the start. The she was taking off my acrylics and split my nail and made me bleed and was trying to not have me see it when trying to take them off, didn’t ask me what shape I wanted or anything, was doing other peoples nails while doing mine. She never got the powder out from under my nails from the dip, my nails are different shapes. My nails still hurt and I’m very dissatisfied with them.

The older lady with the short hair and glasses was supper aggressive. When I first whent to her table I told her I had a picture I wanted them to look like ( I got acrylics) she said wait. She had glued on all the tips then asked me for what shape I wanted, so I said I have a picture I would like to show you she said NO and pulled out a sheet of shapes I chose..she didn’t prep my nails right, she hit me with the dremel 2 times the second time she made me bleed, and just lagged about it. I over charged for the nails. I think she took a vantage that I was young.
