“This is my favorite thrift store in town for the charity they support. It use to be my favorite period, but about a year and a half ago they started changing their prices and not buy small increments. A struggling adult could go in with $10-15 and be able to cook a meal, eat off and with real dishes. And clothes are a full pass most of the time. Though when I went in a few weeks ago I did notice that some prices were dropping. I understand that reselling has blown up, I do a little myself but $8 for just a bowl with no lid because its Tupperware brand? All that to say this is always my first stop on shopping trips well except Sundays lol”
“So happy to have this store in Harrison. I went several times with my six-year-old as we were setting up a tank for a betta. It was a great experience. She is always so happy to see the birds waddling through the store or the snake the clerk wears around her neck. The clerk was very helpful. We did paperwork and they made sure we set up our tank slowly over a week for the benefit of the fish. They seem to care very much, and make lovely colorful cookies we always take home for our dogs. I recommend them as a pet service.”
