The Delta Cultural Center, located in an old railroad station, offers exhibits on the cultural history of the Arkansas Delta, including Native Americans, agriculture, slavery, reconstruction, and blues history. It provides an insightful look into Black citizens' history and the complex past of white America. The facility is nice and a good stop for a break during a long drive, with parking available. Visitors often learn something new each time they visit.
Excellent blues history, shocking history of Black Citizens, meaning American Citizens, in the Delta. I can see why "many" people would like to forget the history of white America did.

This is a place worthy of your time if you're in the Helena - West Helena area. I've dropped by here a few times, and learned something new during each visit. The facility is nice, and also provides for a nice break and leg stretch during a long drive.
