The older man was very rude and disregarded our question about buying an assassin snail to cut back on the snails that keep showing up in the tank after purchasing duckweed from them. He told us we were "over feeding the fish" if there is snails however the snails showed up when we put the duckweed in while we were cycling the tank without a fish in it.

Best place in the entire state in my opinion. A large selection and wonderful owners that are there every day to assist you in your fish keeping journey. Freshwater and/or salt water fully stocked. Lynn, Lynda and Steve have you covered. If you need anything like a special fish or plant they can have it in in a week or two super easy. Love this place. The video is of my wife and I's 55 gallon betta cross breeding project before a lot of the fish colored up. I will be bringing in the first of the Galaxy Koi Marble Ultra Delta Bettas sooooooon.*favorite fish tank lately.... pea puffs and shrimpies ? ?

Very cool little place. Many different fish and live coral to see. Even had tiny sharks and a bunch of amazing looking little fish. The tiniest lobsters and hermit crabs I've ever seen. Free to look and many questions answered that were asked by the 2 kidos I had with me. The kids really loved the place.

The people complaining are probably imbeciles. I was here for business and stopped in and we were alone with the owner and his wife and he took an extra hour after the store closed to talk fish and plants with me and even wrote a bunch of stuff out and I never even spent a dime here. The people saying it’s more expensive than pet smart are morons. Of course it is, support small business. The man is a former biology and chemistry teacher with 54 years of fish keeping. This store was the first I’ve been in with every coral and fish I could ever dream of. Only a crack head would say something negative about this man’s store. He was fantastic and a world of knowledge.

Fantastic place for beautiful fresh and saltwater fish. The owner is exceptionally knowledgeable about all things aquatic related and can help with any questions or concerns. Pricing is great, especially for the health, beauty, and varieties of fish and other aquatic plants and animals. Don't let the location fool you, and miss out on this gem of a fish store local to Hot Springs.

Great choice if you are looking for that special buddy or multiple for your tank. They have salt and fresh water items along with a bunch of tanks and accessories. The owners there are pretty cool too!

This place has the most awful pungent mold smell, and there was a cockroach in one of the enclosures where the hermit crabs were supposed to be. I think this building should be condemned soon because there's no way that mold smell is from the fish tanks alone. There has to be a whole colony growing in the walls. ?

Friendly and local non chain aquarium store with a nice selection! In the central arkansas area you have few options. In LR you have fish tank, paradise pets in benton, pets n things in white hall, marine world in hot springs and fish bowl in Searcy. Further north you have world's underwater in Fayetteville. But that's a drive lol.Of all of these, marine world is my favorite. The owners have always been friendly upon my many visits over the years and seem to care about the hobby. The selection is more expansive for freshwater than 90% of the above stores, and while they are a tad more expensive than online you aren't paying shipping and its nice supporting a local business. If you want to find anything from neon tetras to Denison barbs and plecos they got it.I would suggest stopping by if you are into the hobby or getting into it by stopping by.

There is nowhere in the country where you can receive the knowledge and assistance that you get here. The owners are so knowledgeable about fish as well as the climate for them. You will not learn everything from directions but these guys literally know it all.

WOW!!!! Forget the class trip to some aquarium, or chain pet shop, this place is so impressive and has such heart! Such beautiful aquatic life from salt water to plants and crustaceans are for sale. The owners are so friendly, so knowledgeable and beyond helpful when it comes to this lovely passion, where either it’s a hobby or a first time addition to your life. Forget the internet for answers and come chat with them here. They actually CARE about these creatures like they were their own. They even recommend a water sample they test for free before taking an aquatic friend home just to make sure it’s safe for them. I absolutely love this business and all they stand for. You can really tell you are in a “home” here and not just some chain store that hires anyone to treat so many living creatures. The marine life here have so many plants and shared habitats with other compatible species they just radiate life. There’s so many unique and wild looking fish to observe here and I always leave with a smile on my face and the confidence of knowing what I’m buying is loved and taken well cared for, even before it gets to its new forever home with me. A tip- The decor, rocks, and tanks may be cheaper online or else where but don’t trust getting your marine life from any where else but here. You won’t regret it. They truly are so educated and I just cannot say enough how much heart they have in it. Support local small businesses ?

We will never return to this fish store after the way we were treated. We waited 30 minutes to be waited on because the store was busy which was fine, then when the owner Len came to assist us with corals I pointed to about 5-7 pieces asking the prices. He stated he didn’t know the price and he couldn’t sell it. He then started yelling at us shaking his hands at us pushing all the cheap $20 ugly corals on us. Then exclaiming he wasn’t going to sell his new stuff to us. I am shocked and appalled. We were willing to spend a couple hundred dollars and obviously we left empty handed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.
