The Jacksonville Community Center is a great place and an awesome, well key facility. It offers a wide range of affordable and engaging recreational programs. The center features a nicely sized indoor pool with excellent swimming instructors and ample seating, including a balcony. Aqua Hour of Power classes provide a great workout with a great instructor. There is also an amazing indoor basketball court with wood floors, surrounded by a unique balcony gym workout area. Outside, the facility includes a very well built skate/bike park that needs some polishing, and a nice, crime-free parking lot. The building is very clean and also houses some offices. The community center hosts events like craft time with beautiful handmade decorations at the best prices. It is a clean, well key place in a crime free area. The only noted disadvantage is that they do not advertise much. The Jacksonville Parks and Recreation Department, which runs the center, is dedicated to improving the quality of life and offers rewarding experiences.
It is a very nice place. Except for their parking lot. There are to many potholes. Other than that. It is a family fun place for entertainment.
