Stayed 2 nights in site 6. Small, cozy little park with trees and it was so nice and quiet. Loved being able to walk to the crystal mine with our wagon, and that the RV park had a crystal washing station. Really enjoyed it!

Great find. Wonderful bathhouse. Spacious and clean AND WARM. Visited some friends in the area and will definitely return. Maybe even visit the mine.

This is a fun experience right next to the mine. The campsite was clean and the people hosting and cleaning the campsite area. We’re both very friendly.

We stayed at this park for 3 nights. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the mine. We didn't have sewage hookup, but the bathroom/ showers more than made up for this. (There is a dump station on site.) The showers and bathrooms are surprisingly spacious and clean. My only critiques would be that that sites would benefit from a little more cleaning/ pickup before guest arrival and that the sites are numbered a little better. Lastly that the tent sites are not mixed with the rv sites. We had a tent in between us and another RV and noticed that for more privacy the other RV actually moved to park backwards as to not be staring at their neighbors the entire stay. Otherwise would definitely recommend. The fireflies were and extra bonus we didn't expect.

We stayed in the R/V camp grounds and took advantage of the mining for Quartz Crystal and if course the amazing Zipline across the open mine operation. The tour was very interesting and informative. The pricing was affordable and worth every dime I spent great fun great folks and the bathroom facilities were well kept and more than just ok...I would recommend to these nice folks that at least one shower needs an seat or bench for the handicapped or those with disabilities. Overall I had an 9.8 experience.

We stayed in the mini cabin and we loved it! It was very cute and cozy and stocked with everything you would need. The convenience of being so close to the mines was fabulous. The host was great. I would absolutely recommend and we plan to be back.

The two onsite campground overseers were super nice and helpful. As was this the first time camping for me and my family with small kids, we really didn't know what we were doing with setting up the tent etc. The couple overseeing the camping site helped us set up the tent, explained certain features of it and even gave us tent stakes that were more durable than the ones we had. Very nice people. We would have been lost without them-so thank you! Also, those are the CLEANEST public bathrooms and showers I have ever seen in my life! That fact alone made the trip much more enjoyable when you have small kids. It's also well lit at night and so we felt safe. With water and electric hookups, even with a tent, you just run an extension cord, it made it convenient too. And then when you wake up in the morning, you just basically walk a few feet to the crystal mine and you start digging! Very nice ? We will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms and laundry area were clean. The Camp Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We also spent a day mining. The location is fairly close to Hot Springs. We would definitely stay here again.

We only had 30amp service, but that was plenty. Our site was level and it was full hookups. The site was well tree covered, but not all that large. We were there to dig quartz points so we were happy

Stayed here for a week, 3 adults and 3 kids 14, 10, and 8. We were told at beginning kids were too small to go to restroom alone...that's crazy....my son goes in the men's restroom...I am not taking him to women's with me, he's 10.Also, I read about a bath house remodel...new paint job and showers, toilets look nice but no AC. Maybe since the water from the area is so cold you could use a swamp cooler to cool the bath house off? After digging all day, you sweat more just trying to get your clothes on in the hot place, even if you shower in cold water. They did turn on 2 ceiling fans, but 85° air moving faster is not better. A cooler building would be very nice at the end of a long day digging.Tent camping is ok, but the ground is rocky, so bring mats for under tent, we used a tarp doubled but it wasn't enough. Except for bath house area there are no lights, so bring some. Make sure you have secure area for food also, racoons (at night) or squirrels (daytime) will come and get it.This was our second time here and we will be back again.

Our 2nd time camping here, We love coming to camp and dig for crystals! The remodeling of the bathhouse is good except it's hot, a small AC unit would be lovely, trying to dress when it's so hot is miserable! The crystal washiing table is ok, it needs to be higher with bench seats so your not bent over. Wish some people would be more respectful and not take the hose sprayer. Would be nice to have a small play area so the kids would have alittle something to do when parents are having down time from digging. A notice sign by the bathhouse would be nice for updates! The power people came and told us the power would be out for 2 and a half hours, was longer and a lady had a dog was in her camper which could have turned out horrible! We were not told the power would be out and I need breathing treatments! We had a great time and will be back!

I gave a 2 out of 5 because the bathrooms are nice and it's close to the mine to dig. Campsites are not child friendly kids got in trouble for moving small rocks. They were not throwing them just playing with them. Campsites are small and not level. There is literally nothing for kids to do. No grass areas or anything. Your best bet is to stay at lake Ouachita national park and drive to the mine.
