Ron Coleman Mining is a commercial quartz crystal mine located near Hot Springs, Arkansas. The mine offers a public quartz crystal digging area where visitors can pay an entry fee and take home all the crystals they find. Visitors can also enjoy a 1/4 mile zip-line, tour the operation in a military vehicle, and browse the expansive gift shop. The mine offers wholesale pricing on crystal points and clusters to qualified buyers and has an on-site RV campground and tiny cabins available for rent. Group rates are available for schools, churches, scouts, home school organizations, and employer-sponsored outings. The mine is open to the public year-round, rain or shine. Visitors have described the mine as a fun and enjoyable experience, with the crystal digging being a particular highlight. However, some have found the tour to be disappointing, as it mainly consists of a drive-around with limited historical information. Overall, the mine is a popular destination for those interested in quartz crystal hunting and exploration, with many visitors planning to return for more crystal-digging adventures.
I love this place and the zip line so fun (I got stuck) and the mining don’t get me started SO FUN, this place lasts all day and such nice employees and people 10/10 recommend

I've been rock hounding and digging since 2008 and I wish I had found Ron Coleman sooner. Started digging here around 2013 and haven't been anywhere since. Found a 27lbs point on my last visit. Will definitely back
