As if my family and I hadn’t already felt the warmest welcome back to Brookland, today truly reminded me how blessed we are to be back home. I was going to have to wait one more dreadful week with no internet until Empower was able to have my Wi-Fi installation appointment moved up, and Mr. Ricky went above and beyond to make it happen. He came today to get ahead of the job that he was assigned to for in the morning, and ended up leaving my home with my WiFi completely installed and ready to go!
As a widowed mom of three, I appreciated his willingness to jump right in—moving things around without hesitation and even braving the attic in the midday heat. He called in his colleague Corey, who was also happy to help complete the job more quickly so my children and I could finally move off of our very limited hotspot connection.
Throughout the process, Mr. Ricky was professional, personable, and incredibly kind—taking the time to ask about my preferences and making sure everything was set up just right.
Brookland was once our home, and by the grace of both heavenly and earthly angels, we are blessed to call it home again—surrounded by an amazing community full of good-hearted people.

Whoever was working tech support 7/5/25 at about 8:15pm was no help. I’m sure there are many working the support center but whoever took my call should not be working in a customer support center, that is for certain. He sounded super annoyed and inconvenienced. Like maybe I woke him up or something.

We recently were able to get services installed at our new home. We were very fortunate to have received Ricky as our technician. He was very personable, efficient, and informative. If you are near installation or looking at reviews to find new services, go with Empower and ask for Ricky! He is your go to guy!

Our business phone has been down for 7 days and going. Their customer service keeps telling us it's working. We tell them it is not. Horrible phone service. We never had this kind of trouble with Optimum. We regret having switched over. Absolutely incompetent.
