Good type of work if your looking to get out of the nursing homes. At focus you will have the opportunity to go into people's homes and help them out. You can take them shopping, to the doctor, out to the park or you can sit with them and clean up around the house and help them. Laid back, and decent work, the pay is ok, and you can work extra hours if you ask for them. Clients are in different locations, so be prepared to drive.I can say this, some of the sattf have bad attitudes and can be really rude in their approach to you, also most the staff are women, so you already know they gonna be stuck on something negative. So, either ignore them or ask them what's your problem, would you like someone to approach you the way you do me?. Don't be scared to stand up for yourself, and don't be scared to do your job.

Told my daughter that she coukd not do her second job Photography besides this one. she worked for Focus for 5 yrs. had to wirk dible shifts. take care of three people at night fir one oersons money. no coverage fir breaks and lunches. Everytime she took off on vacation they find something to write her uo for ir trade her shift off away from what she working. Does not keep empkoyees up-to-date with date client mebtal physical activities actionswhen u go on vacations. so do i recommend. No!

There's a lot of work that Focus needs to do with training the staff doing in home checks to make sure staff is doing the job their supposed to be doing. Focus needs major improvement with their employees

They are so un professional .if you talk to your supervisor about taking off .Everyone in the office gone know.This is one of the worse place I've done worked so far.i wouldn't recommend this job to a fish.
