Our Goldendoodle has been groomed by Petco multiple times, however, this specific location we went to while we were traveling was the epitome of awful. From the get-go, Hailey was rude and unprofessional; she was unsure of how to do his haircut because of minor matting behind his elbows and kept repeating "i don't know, I'll try.". To my understanding, Petco has policies and requirements for groomers and their respective credentials, but it seemed like the team as a whole lacked the fundamentals. After speaking with Hailey over the phone to provide clarification and ask if I could answer any questions, she said no and that I should expect Bruno in about 4 hours. About an hour and a half later, the "previous salon manager" Ashley calls me saying that he is matted all over and that I need to pick him up or else they will shave him as the only solution. In a passive-aggressive and condescending manner, she disregarded any autonomy we have in our dog's style and showed a complete lack of professionalism. Upon picking him up, I spoke with the store manager, Rendy who was kind enough to tell us the truth behind why they refused to work on Bruno. In a professional way, she said that they do not want to upset picky dog owners; every dog owner deserves to be picky if they spend a considerable amount of time maintaining their coat. Rendy admitted that Ashley should not have provided misinformation over the phone falsely claiming that he is matted all over. The salon tech showed my wife how they brush through the coat and the second a tangle stops the brush, they diagnose it as all-around matting and thus refuse service. Although Rendy was kind enough to try justifying the groomer's lack of professionalism, she agreed and stated "It would have been worse if they continued with Bruno." I have had a poor experience with Petco before in which headquarters reached out, once again apologizing for a store's lack of professionalism. I think I am recognizing the trend. I believe if you have a low-maintenance dog with fairly straightforward genetic coat patterns, Petco is actually not a bad idea. However, if you are looking for someone who is educated in more modern genetically cross bred dogs, find an actual professional; quality over quantity!

Friendly staff and a good selection of pet food products. Offered a pet treat at checkout. Overall nice shopping experience but I would not use the training services. The "trainer" didn't understand the need for a training collar.

There should be more reptile products such as basic eye cleaner, especially when one of the bearded dragons in there has an eye infection. Nothing serious, it’s common especially when they’re only fed mealworms which have no nutritional value whatsoever other than fat. And maybe put the can of silkworms in the mini fridges because they’re meant to be stored in the fridge so they last longer. I don’t support how big chains like this company breed, smuggle, and import animals and then throw live animals away.

Animals well cared for, staff kind & helpful. Products missing but that's to be expected this day in age. Will be getting my fish from here for my new fish tank.

Petco has so many animal supplies and their staff is knowledgeable on a variety of things. They many not know everything so consulting a vet is always recommended. We have bought many things here and they have been good quality.

I feel like the store, in general, is very overpriced. This location was clean and organized. I went in looking for extra small dog items and left with nothing. They didn't have anything really for harnesses and I didn't find anything else I felt like would work.

The place is clean, well organized and I have No complaints. I also found here the big cans or Urinary Track food for cats that I didn't find in another store where they only have the small cans, what are more expensive at the end. I'll be going there more often for that reason.

Very nice selection on their fish. Staff was very patient and helpful with catching @ bagging their different fish I selected. The staff also had the knowledge about the various fish, their habits and their compatability to other breeds of fish. I know this to be true because I have had Manny fish over the past40 years.

Store is dirty, fish tank hoses thrown all over the floor, fish look like they are on the verge of death...can't find prices on some items and go to look for someone and you won't find anyone... probably won't return unless I'm in dire need

I walked in a bit stressed, it was the first time I was going to fly with my dog. And didn’t know what carrier to take on flight with me. The team walked me to the aisle, told me that they would be happy to help me find the right size according to the airline. We googled information together and they also let me know that for whatever reason, if the airlines won’t accept it; Petco would gladly take the carrier back and give me a full refund- but to rest assured I would be ok.I’m writing this review from the plane; with my dog. And we both couldn’t be happier :) ?✈️I snuck him out of the carrier to get this picture! Shhhhh! Lol
