Called an hour before my pick up time to make sure they had everything before I got a ride down there. The person told me I was good to go. I showed up and the front desk worker told me "yea your good to go, but the person who has your truck isnt. They havent showed back up yet".. Long story short, horrible service and the front desk person straight up lied to me serval times.. Also, why do you need to verify that you can get in touch with both my listed phone contacts before you can proceed any further, while on the speaker phone in front all the other customers?? Then after doing all that, then tell me you don't have my rental I booked in advance? Literally wasted an hour of my time today at this place

Showed up at 9:50am to pick up the truck (pick-up was sheduled for 10am). There was a mixup with getting the keys. The app told me I needed to go get them from an associate, but Nate Spivey (the GM) told me they were in the lock box. The app wasn't giving me a code, so I couldn't retrieve them from the box. After finally getting the keys from Nate and opening up the truck, I see that the two dollies and the dozen furniture pads that I had purchased were not in the truck, and the floor of the truck was soaking wet with mop water (this was around 10:30 am, 30 minutes after I was already supposed to have the truck).I went back inside to ask about the dollies, furniture pads, and the soaking wet floor. Upon approaching Nate and asking for assistance, Nate said, "Could you just hold on for a second,? You're interrupting my inventory count." I worked retail and customer service for almost 10 years, and cannot imagine a single scenario where I would have been allowed to say that to a customer who was requesting assistance. He then tells me that he doesn't have any dollies because they've all been rented out. Considering I made the reservation for the truck and the dollies a week before, I would have thought that the dollies I paid for would have been held back for my reservation. Nate tells me that he will process a refund for the dollies.When we drop the truck off in Little Rock, the Uhaul employee there tells me that I should have received an email if a refund had been processed, and I had not received an email. We then call the Jonesboro location to talk to Nate again, and he lies to me and says that he told me that the location receiving the truck would have to process the refund. This is the opposite of what he said when we picked up the truck. Nate Spivey then calls the Little Rock Uhaul location to tell the employee that we were "over the top and entitled." I'm so very sorry if I'm over the top and entitled for asking for the products and services that I paid for. I've never had so much trouble with an employee at Uhaul before, and I've certainly never before had to mop standing water from the back of a Uhaul truck myself. An absolute embarassment.There was a young female employee at the Jonesboro location who was new and she was very nice and helpful. 100 times more helpful than Nate.

Nate Spivey has to be the most unprofessional general manager I’ve ever met. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and from all the other one star reviews, saying the same thing, it’s no surprise.

If you have a choice, ANY choice at all, do NOT rent a Uhaul truck. The call center kept me on hold for 30 minutes, kept transferring me, then expected me to stay on hold for another 30 minutes, just to make a payment. It was a completely frustrating experience.

If I could give it a zero I would..call center was horrible they have to have all your info to just tell you how much a trailer cost to rent and can't tell you pick up or drop off times. Horrible customer service refuses to answer any questions necessary to rent anything

This has been the most frustrating experience EVER! Rented a truck, went a lil over 2 miles down the road & it blew the rear seal on the transmission. There was a hole in the roof & BLOOD on the wall. Finally get a mechanic to look at it, he says unload it... roadside assistance said we're moving it loaded... it was a long stressful ordeal. Watch your billing as well...DON'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!

Last three lol times I've tried to get propane at this establishment I have been turned away. All three times it has been the manager of this store. He tells me that he is the only one that is certified to pump propane and he is busy. He told me that I would have to wait until he was done with everybody else, even though is was third in line and there was 4 people behind me. I told him this was the third time this had happened to me here, he said sorry have a nice day and told me to go get it at Harbor Freight. I will no longer do business at this U-Haul and will recommend that anybody wanting to do business here should reconsider.

I rented a unit from the local uhaul location. To start off, the rep Put me in the wrong unit on my contract. I went up there hours later to move my belongings into the rented unit. My access code did not work. I had to go inside and find out that I was not set up right and actually kicked out of the system. The lady rep apologized and fixed it and said that for my troubles that I would receive a free month. I already paid for the month. She said it was cover the next month. I asked her if my account was set up still for auto draft with my debit card. She confirmed that it was indeed still set up. I received an email stating that I was late the beginning of this month. I contacted the store at opening and explained what the situation was. The store rep said my account was past due and I needed to pay. I asked to speak to the manager. The rep stated that the manager was not in and that he would call me back at 9am. I received a call from the manager and I explained what was going on and expressed to me that it was my responsbility to make sure I'm paying it on time. I ended up getting angry with him and I moved out and went with a better company. I will NOT be back!! I highly recommend that NO one uses this location/company. There is a huge communication problem with the staff here. Also, if you want to save time do not bother stopping by this location. On several occasions, I had to wait in line for 10 minutes + just to ask an employee to move their equipment out of the way so I could access my unit that I rented! Don't waste your money or time!! Go to another storage facility!!!!

I had reserved a car dolly in Newport when I got there they had it the lady working was working on 1 other person and told me to pull round I sit where she told me to I was there for 1.5 hrs waiting than when I went back in she told me that she forgot about me. I called up there 2 other time and they place me on hold. I will not go back to this U-Haul place and might not go to another either

Steven Garrett is rude, unprofessional, and a liability to the company. The store was left unattended for over 15 minutes, and after one of the customers in front of me left I called Uhaul customer service to ask if anyone worked there. Steven walked back in casually, did not offer any apology for the delay, and rudely insinuated that I am not who I am on my driver’s license, so he can’t rent me a truck. This sounded like discrimination, since he did this after he read my name and had me repeat it twice to him (I’m not from Jonesboro). I walked outside and called Uhaul customer service. After explaining everything to the rep, she found out that my order had been cancelled by the store. The rep asked me to hand my phone to Steven Garrett so she can get my order pushed through. He spoke to her, lied and said he tried to look for me when I was in front of the glass door on the phone with Uhaul customer service, and cancelled my order. Steven told the rep “Just go ahead and file a customer complaint for him, I’m not giving him a truck.” Steven is completely unprofessional and should not be at this position. I went to the Uhaul at 1020 Neil Dr and got a truck right away. Do not come here and look through the other reviews. You will see Steven Garrett’s name in many of the bad reviews
