Hagarville Grocery is a top food destination at the foothills of the Ozarks, a quaint little shop that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. It is run by a friendly and inspiring young couple. They create one-of-a-kind sub-style sammiches, deli sammiches, and freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses, with fabulous BLTs and fantastic breakfast burritos. They also have thoughtful specials and menu items, along with essentials for a traveler, hiker, biker, and outdoor enthusiast. It is a great stop with fantastic food when planning a picnic or taking a trip up the mountain, making it a definite part of your stop.
We came out of the forest hungry and stopped at the first place we could find - how lucky were we!! Cool old time atmosphere and a huge delicious sandwich- homemade while we waited.

I had the Lipstick on a pig and the wife had the Flying pig. Oh my goodness. One of the best sandwiches either of us had ever eaten. Reminds you of walking into an old country store. Also bought a can of their pickles. Delicious. Highly recommend this place.
