This park is half mobile homes and half lots for campers. Initially, I was hopeful after speaking with Ross, who was kind on the phone. However, upon arriving, I met Rob and saw the mobile home, which had dead cockroaches on the counter and glue traps full of them. Rob denied having a roach problem, claiming they’re 'easy to kill,' which was contradictory. He also stated that they didn’t care if the unit stayed vacant for years and was extremely rude, judging me based on past tenants. They treated me poorly, assuming I’d be a bad tenant without reason.
People should not be judged by others' actions. After this experience, I found a much better campground with a laundromat, showers, hiking trails, pool, boat rentals, and more – and for $200 less! If you want to be treated with respect, go somewhere that values both their property and their guests. The only good thing about this place is that their rudeness led me to a far better option. I’m grateful for that!
Edit for Response to owner: It had NOTHING to do with verifying my employment. Why on earth would that be an issue for me I have a job and could have verified it with no issues.

Has a lot of people there ...most are drug users and are always asking to borrow off you

More like a trailer park with a few RV's. A lot of permanent residents. 40 yards from a freeway, trucks jake breaking all night and a sketchy Gass station. Ground was very uneven, difficult to get RV level. Especially in the dark.

Nice basic no frills park that was perfect for an overnight. It’s very conveniently located just off of I-40. Make sure to watch the video provided to see how to navigate the entrance; it made it easy.Level gravel site. Everything was as expected. Owner is a good communicator, and the online pay was easy and quick. No complaints and would certainly stay here again for a quick overnight.One thing to note is the interstate is very close, so the traffic noise is pretty loud.

Simple little rv park right off the highway, easy to check in & out, clean & well kept site with very fair pricing for full rv hook-ups. We had a great nights sleep, so we'll definitely stop by again when passing thru. Thank you so much, Lamar RV Park, we appreciate you!

Be careful making that turn into the gas station. There is a big hole as you turn into the gas station that took out my tire and rim. 25.00 for the over night stay. Nothing fancy about this park. $260 to replace rim & tire. It was my fault, but it seems like he would give some attention to that hole.

Stayed for a quick overnight. Host really responsive and video directions extremely helpful. No breed restrictions on dogs. Some permanent residents, some "off leash" dogs. But everyone was well behaved.

Stayed here for a month, thought it was fair for the price. No issues with neighbors or theft. Owner was friendly, responsive and easy to deal with! I was in row C, which has much more room than the others which are very close! It is directly next to the interstate and you will hear the traffic all day/night, but that can’t be changed.
