I have been trying to call them all day. I have not had one person answer the phone.

I cannot answer for how to improve your service. I can explain what my experience was with MFA however, just like I did over the phone with no real resolution. Sorry for the long post ahead. My experience with MFA starts with our last house, we bought the house and opened an account for our propane tank. When we sold the house we called March of 2022 to close our account and pick up the tank. We later realized we were being charged ongoing fill ups and rental fees. It took multiple calls from there to eventually move the account over to the new home owners spanning into January of 2023. We built a house and were ready to move in. We called to have a new tank brought out and installed. My wife was told it would be $36 a year to rent. While I don't have an exact time frame here, I do know we were told a couple of weeks, which wound up being over a month before getting set up. At set up, a used tank was brought and the install guy (great employee) said there were no new tanks available so he grabbed one with 60% in it to get us going. I was appreciative of him doing that as we had to buy a temp 100 gallon tank for the mean time. I believe install was the last week of October. I was there for the install and signed the $75 rent fee. I didn't know it was quoted at $36. My wife was upset, but hey, they took care of us and I'm willing to pay that for the service. So we went on with life. We got the install bill and didn't pay immediately from simple life going on, but within a month received another charge for propane when we hadn't called any in. We reached out to ask and they said it was filled 11/20 I believe. That didn't happen. We looked back at cameras and the tank percentage to verify. So we held on to the bill to address it when we had time. Holidays happened and in January I received a letter saying that if we didn't pay by February we would be turned over to collections. That part is all good, we realize we still haven't paid for the install. So my wife calls to pay the install portion while asking about the propane drop that didn't happen. That's when it is explained that we were charged for the amount that was in the tank when deliver, different from the got filled on 11/20 story. The Ahah moment... But then we realize that someone else paid for that already? Well no, they explained that the old customer was credited. Now for us, the initial part of this story comes back. Why weren't we credited when we called to have the tank picked up? Now you want me to pay for the propane, that I have NO idea how long it's been in there? In a used tank that was not serviced or cleaned before brining out? The lady said she would have her boss reach out and answer those questions. So we paid up on the install and went about our day. The next Monday the install guy (again GREAT guy) called and asked if all was ok, because his boss told him to come by our house and pick up our tank for non payment. I explained it all to him, he said to call Dwight and he would make it all right. So I did (since he never called us back in the first place). The only thing that conversation discovered is that my account is now a COD account because we were sent to collections. This is ultimately the reason for the one star. Its still not Feb by the way. But no effort was made on his behalf to rectify any of the above. At the end of the day I paid what I owed on the propane. However, I'm absolutely in the market for another provider that will not jerk me around and send me to collections for their own inept abilities. To boot, I'm still renting the tank for over double the quoted price, which was justified by saying "well it cheaper that the $96 it is now". Really? Just get me what you said you would, communicate, and there would be no issues. I just want to rent a tank and get it filled when needed. That's all.

We’ve run out of propane twice and had the tank removed once without the owners permission. They were supposed to check and fill the tank once every month, but they haven’t done that. These 3 major mistakes have cost us a lot of money so we will be switching to a company that can do their job correctly.

Halfwit libtards from Austin Texas should stay in their safe places. MFA serves the community and it's surrounding farmers.
