“I'm posting this from one small business owner to another in hopes of helping him get control with scammers using his business name. I'm also hoping to help others not fall for the scam that is being run.
I called Integrity Motors to try to get to the bottom of a listing that listed a classic car. The listing smelled scammy and calling Integrity Motors verified that. The gentleman I talked to was very kind and professional and informed me that he had been getting a lot of calls about classic cars he doesn't have. He even told me someone told him they had wired a $15k deposit on a car to an account in NY. When we informed the scammer that someone would be coming to inspect they car they offered up an inspection from Lemon Squad which is also a reputable company, but I called the Lemon Squad number and asked them about it, they told me the name of the inspector before I gave them hardly any information.
Long story short, call the local guy, talk to him, verify. I can't speak to anything other than visiting with him briefly on the phone, but he seems like a nice guy!”
