Mad Butcher is a very friendly and tidy store with great management. The team members, including cashiers and carry outs, are always willing to help, make customers feel very welcome, and always have a smile. They have a beautiful produce department and carry some harder-to-find items, like soul food. As the only grocery store in town, some find prices a little high, but they offer really good ribeye steaks. Many customers plan to visit again and recommend it to others.
When our mother was in the nursing home there in McCrory we would always go there and get whatever she needed, the employees were always very helpful and friendly……

I found the store to be convenient, a little pricey but for a small town and other other grocery stores in the area.
