BEWARE! Do not use this post office if you want honest and reliable services. You do not get what you pay for. Best go to another town, maybe Beebe, if you want reliable service.

Hard getting important mail . You will always get your junk and your bills . Even with the informed delivery app that shows what you are having delivered on that day usually doesn’t show for 2-3 more days. Nice people just bad delivery.

Absolutely worst customer service in a Post Office I've ever experienced. Just flat out rude!! If you need to ship anything make sure you have cash or check. I thought when I moved to this small town people would be more friendly but that lady behind the counter in this post office acted like I owed her money!!!!

BEWARE - the worst of the worst as you can see by their many continued low ratings. Slow and rude female "employee" Belen in the lobby screaming at people but providing no actual service to help the line along. The management keeps changing here too so nothing being done.

I had an excellent experience here! I enjoyed the historic building, the courtesy of the employees, and the convenience of the location! I'm not sure if it was because I was pregnant and that I happened to go when there wasn't a long line as mentioned in other posts, but everyone was so nice to me. I wish I would've gotten the employee's name who helped me, but she even was kind enough to tape my package up for me because I didn't have any packing tape. When I went to a UPS store, they made me purchase packing tape and I had to tape it all up myself, not knowing if it would hold up well. I guess you can say that I got spoiled at this location.

I visited the Post office in September, to ask how to order the lost mailbox key for my living Condo in San Jose. On Sept 15, I visited again, and was able to order the key. The price was $50. The woman said that it takes 3 days, so 3 days later I revisited the same place to pick up my key. But the man told me that it usually takes 6 day, so I re-visited 10 days later, then different man said that the key was still not available. It was Friday, and he said the key should be available on coming Monday for sure. So, I visited next Friday instead of Monday, then the woman said the key is still not available. She said there is basically no guarantee when the key can be ready. I asked her why the previous 3 people didn't say that. She suggested that I should access the web site to track the package shown on the receipt. I accessed usps.com, and login to my account, and was trying to enter the tracking #, but there is no such information on the receipt. I also specified a web address with a long digit # shown in the receipt, but i got an error.

Great location for a post office. Lines are super long and not a lot of people working the counter. Been there 4 times in last month and they're not very friendly at all. There's one particular employee who should be working at the DMV

Zero stars. This continues to be the literal worst post office in existence. The employees pick and choose which days they feel like delivering your mail and on the days they don't, they fraudulently and blatantly LIE and mark your item as delivered to meet whatever arbitrary deadline they're aiming for, and then miraculously deliver it 2-3 days later (if you're lucky, that is). They couldn't care less about morality or providing any semblance of customer service. They're the shining example of why the post office doesn't deserve one cent more in funding.

This post office is literally full of the laziest people on earth. My apartment is 2 blocks away. We have a gated door which security will gladly open for mail carriers. If you order something that is too big for the tiny little mail carriers they refuse to bring it whatsoever. My neighbor got their package today but when I checked to see if mine had arrived I came to realize it didn't. The excuse was "front door not accessible" how in the world did my neighbor get their package and I didn't? This post office needs to hire better workers that actually take pride in where they work. If you order stuff on amazon as I often do it's better to get it delivered to the amazon hub. My package was "undeliverable" for the past 2 days. This office is ridiculous.

Today I went into the downtown San Jose post office on North 1st to report my postal delivery person for not wearing a mask, only to find several of the employees at this post office not wearing them either. The supervisor I spoke to kept me waiting for 15 minutes, with no apology. She told me that while she did let my delivery person know to wear a mask when entering my apartment building, she couldn't make him do it. It's something she could "suggest he do if he feels comfortable." I reminded her that it's a government mandated requirement to wear a mask, and not something to do "if you feel comfortable."She went on to justify his lack of a mask because the poor guy is out by himself all day. I have no idea how this justifies him endangering our health by not wearing a mask.I told her that she's not taking this seriously, and that she's allowing postal workers to endanger the health and lives of the public they serve. We need to reform the postal system, and hire people who care about the public they serve.

This is by far the WORST Post Office. It's so sad because I love, love, love the building. Most of the people who work at the counter are awesome. HOWEVER, if you are a resident, the mail carriers who work from this Post Office are a real problem. Recently, our mail carrier just decided out of the blue that he didn't want to deliver to our actual mailbox because my housemate's dog is on the porch near the mailbox. This is the sweetest dog in America. And if you're afraid of dogs, I mean, is mail carrier really the appropriate career choice for you? Anyway, this guy straight up scribbled an angry note in red ink on some random piece of paper that looks like it came from the floorboard of his car saying we had to move the mailbox from the porch to the fence in order to get our mail. So the landlord did it. He moved the mailbox which is now totally accessible to the public. Like if you're walking by, you can just see our mailbox right there along the driveway. Maybe you'd like one of our bills? Help yourself because it's just RIGHT THERE. And guess what we have not got since we moved the mailbox? Right. The mail. Nothing. There are 10 people living in our house so a day with no mail is pretty unheard of. More than a week with no mail? IMPOSSIBLE. Where is our mail? Is it in a trash bin somewhere? In the mail carrier's trunk? It's not in our newly relocated mailbox, that's for sure. I have filed two complaints online at the usps.com site. I have actually gone to the post office to discuss this issue with the postmaster. The postmaster refused to come out of his office and speak to me but sent a message via a clerk saying that they'd had issues with this mail carrier before and would speak to him again. That seems to have either not happened or not worked. Either way, it's been more than a week and we have no mail. The Post Office's phone rings for more than five minutes, unanswered, and then cuts off. No agency should have the power to just randomly decide to keep people's personal property. No wonder the Post Office is basically going out of business. I am probably going to have to take a day off work just to go hash this out in person. What a nightmare.
