Girl at the counter (chubby, bad makeup) was rude and had no intentions of helping me solve my problem i helping an older lady fix her car and trying to get her a battery. Thanks auto zone. O O'Reillys here I come

We have had three times in the last couple of months that we had vehicle issues with three seperate vehicles. We went straight to Auto Zone in Mena, AR to get assistance. Each time staff went out of their way to help with expertise. The management is amazing and the vibe of the whole staff at this store is awesome! These folks are top notch!!

While traveling from KY to El Paso TX I noticed that my brakes were grinding and I stopped in at Mena Arkansas Autozone. I was greeted by Christopher R and he helped me get the right parts for the job. He was knowledgeable and professional. He displayed a concern and willingness to go well above what I consider to be standard customer service. In fact I can say without any doubt that Christopher gave me the best customer service I've ever received from a auto parts establishment! He is in my opinion definitely a asset to his store and I'm sure if he pursues his career in customer service he will make a great manager and lead his team by example. I have had a bias against autozone due to my experiences in large metropolitan areas in the SouthEast.
This autozone is not like those stores. The staff is polite and want to help. Prices are usually better than other auto parts stores in the area as well.
The extended hours compared to the other stores makes it very convenient also.
That said they are limited on some services and parts that the other auto parts stores offer.

On date of the 3rd of August 2024 I called checking availability of a specific part BEFORE I made a 50 mile one way trip to buy this part which I was told was available and was to be put on hold until I got there. I expressed I did not want to make trip if it was not there and would be there within 2 hrs to get part. After making the trip the clerks pulled up my account and then realized the part was not there but would have to be ordered. If I was wanting to order one I'd have done online, don't need someone to make me have to drive up there AGAIN in turn costing me more money!! Probably last time I'll use Autozone, I'll do my shopping at the bumper to bumper down the road. Location Mena, AR don't waste your time folks, this happens often at this location or they send you home with wrong parts!!
