We just moved here from Hot Springs..our first day of trash pickup was today...all 3 guys were very friendly and didnt throw the cans but placed them down nicely as they did with the rest of the neighborhood. We love this place.

This is not a good business by any measure. Unfortunately, they are the only gig in town, and they act like it. First off, it costs 2x as much per month than an average municipal garbage service, and the rates keep going up rapidly every year. Actually, it went up 15% for 2025. If that was the only issue, I would sympathize... inflation right? But on top of that, they randomly no-show regularly. And they are careless and occasionally leave big messes behind. Thinking about just building a small incinerator and being done with them.

Southern Disposal changed days for pickup and didn’t notify us then didn’t pick up for weather for two weeks—3 weeks total of no service and then tripled our bill for two months (drafted) and offered nothing but excuses! I cancelled and called York Sanitation Service. Definitely would NOT recommend Southern Disposal!!

I have to call them every month or two because they simply do not show up to pick up trash on garbage day even though I always pay on time, I follow their strict rules, and I place the cans out the night before. Thinking about just building a small incinerator and being done with them.

I’ve paid my bill like I was supposed to but because it wasn’t paid by Friday before they closed I have to wait a while other week and carried all the trash to the road and the trash man drove right past me, so I called and they said I would have to wait til next Monday so now I have to carry it all back and the trash man is still right across the street from me like they cannot turn around ! SMH not too happy with this and this is the second time .Service: Trash removal & disposal

Extremely confusing where to go.. no signs or people to guide you.. and no sign where to pay so you'll drive around and be confused. Go somewhere else.

I called and was needing a dumpster for a house I am having remodeled and I asked the particular questions, how much do you charge and if there is a monthly rental fee on the container. I was told the only time I would be charged is if I needed it dumped and I would have to pay the same as I did when I got it the first time. I said ok. Well I used the dumpster from October till December when I was needing it dumped. I called and asked them to come and dump it and bring it back and they did, no problems. Today, January 17th, 2022, I receive a phone call asking if I still need the dumpster I said yes. I then get another phone call telling me that the dumpster timed out on the 4th and I need to pay the monthly rental fee. I told them I was told there was no rental fee. I spoke to the owner and she said she was sorry I was giving the wrong information but they have always charged a rental fee. I told her to explain to me how I had the dumpster from October to December and never got charged a monthly rental fee, So why is there now a charge. She told me she was sorry but she had to charge me the rental fee. I feel that they should have honored the original agreement regardless what they normally do because I specifically asked the question and was given the wrong information, apparently. It is a bad way to do business and I will not do business with these people again!Service: Construction waste removal

Bought a 40 foot storage container on Tuesday and was needing it delivered next day before having to leave town. It was delivered promptly the next day and done with a level of professionalism that far exceeded what was expected. They made sure that it was set perfectly before leaving. I couldn't have been happier and I will be doing business with them in the future.
