Absolutely pathetic and that's being nice! Been a customer there for years and they have went into the sewer since the merger....if you have any money with this bank keep a watchful eye on it especially after the system updates.... I have nothing positive to say about this bank

Worst bank ever!! The personel won't work on Saturday except for the things you can do through an ATM. This bank will charge all kinds of fees and will put overdraft fees on accounts with positive balances. I would highly recommend choosing a different bank to take care of you as this bank DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!

Always pleasant here when I have business at the bank.
Locally owned it has the positive being service and commitment to community.
The downside is there are only a couple locations. Using ATM services at other banking institutions will cost.

Not wanting to insult the staff in any way, as they are always nice, this is about how insecure their product is. First, my debit was hacked repeatedly several years ago, I switched to using credit cards because of it, I switched back to using only debit, to avoid interest on credit cards ( no overdraft protection so be careful, they'll charge 30 bucks for a 2 dollar coffee) I have gotten several blocked payments ( one was daily limit, another for "fraud"), they now email me if I don't respond in time, they block payments... if I am at work... I may lose my purchase and not know... It is unreasonable for them to ask us to respond to an email or text... that is NOT secure, as this is what scammers do all the time. We should be able to log into our account like any credit card, to verify it is not fraud... It's not safe to click links... I have to call them if I don't want to... clicking the link winds up 3 different pages, one of which just looks scammy... before it is done... SO ... their way of dealing with fraud is unrealistic. When my debit used to get hacked only the last 4 digits ever changed... it was an easy bank to target. I had to call today, for my daughter's B-day purchase held hostage... was transferred 3 times, put on hold, so I clicked the stupid link..

Their outdated website has caused numerous problems over the years as has their unwillingness to allow connection to modern, secure money transfer apps; their tellers inattentiveness to account numbers, and fees, upon fees, upon fees for anything and everything. I finally had to switch banks. Two stars because the service was always friendly, but I need competence over friendliness.

Been with them for several months, and so far, not very pleased. Archaic methods, poor care for sensitive and private PII data [they encourage you to use unencrypted basic email to transmit documents with full social :-0], and simple things like doing a wire transfer are a total junk show. There are steep fees for absolutely everything. They process things extremely slooooow. And some of the staff remind me of DMV employees. I am pulling out my money. Not good. Not sure if these other reviewers have ever been to a decent bank before, but this is not it.

I had a transaction that was cancelled and refunded by Uber - the bank charged an overdraft fee - it shows that I had a positive balance but the bank still charged the overdraft fee. I don’t recommend banking with Union Bank of Mena and we are definitely looking at opening a new account elsewhere.
