I needed an antique rocking chair repaired and several different people suggested I might call 2Brothers. So I called and spoke with Chris, who requested a few pics of the chair and damage. I texted photos and he replied quickly with a couple of options and an estimate for each. When I dropped the chair off I was told it would be two or three weeks before it would be finished (Holiday season and pretty stacked up with work ahead of my “small” project). But just a few days later, I got the message that it was ready! Weather had slowed progress on other work so they fixed my chair in between! The work was beautifully done and although there’s actually a chunk of wood missing from the damaged arm (part of why I took it to them), you can’t tell it at all! He was able to reassemble the broken arm AND smooth and re-contour the damaged spot and leave it looking perfect! I chose this option over patching because the stain is gorgeous and I didn’t want to have to paint it. This was not a cheap fix, but the price was fair. Quality work is not cheap and I definitely prioritize quality over cost. Once the repair was complete I needed an upholstery job. He doesn’t do that but was able to refer me to someone who also did a great (and fast) job. So I ended up with a beautiful chair that we can now use daily instead of having to step around it out in the garage like we’d been doing for years! I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely do business with them again.

If zero stars was an option I would definitely give it. I bought a used/ refurbished weedeater and lawnmower from Chris pin at two Brothers refurbished and reclaimed I have had both the weedeater and lawnmower for a total of 2 1/2 months I have mowed and weed eated five times. The weedeater broke two weeks ago will not run at all, the lawnmower blew up on me last night after filling my entire yard with smoke. I called Chris this morning and asked him if he could give it a look or a fix he reminded me that I signed a no guarantee waiver said good luck and hung up on me. Now he refuses to answer the cell phone or landline. I will never do business with two brothers again, and I will tell every one of my experience.

I have done business with 2Brothers for many years. They are wonderful to work with and always find great stuff. Amazing innovative ideas on refurbishing and reusing odd parts and pieces. The custom made projects are always great and on point. Great, honest, trustworthy people.

Crooks. Chris Penn at 2 Brothers Reclamation advertises that he sells refurbished mowers. After a couple of phone conversations, Chris seemed to know his stuff and I trusted him. After I met him, I liked him. He's just a charismatic guy. And during every conversation, I told him the reason I was buying from him was because he sold refurbished, and I did not want to work on a mower. I just wanted to mow. He said he could fix me up.

Exceptional quality and service is the norm when it comes to the staff, goods, and services provided by 2Brothers. They have some of the most unique pieces ive seen anywhere, plus they are very knowledgeable about every item they have. 2Brothers custom builds are all one of a kind and definitely conversation starters that can be passed down for generations.

Beware of these guys. Friend of mine purchased a $175 mower that was sold as refurbished. It was not. Friend was not even able to get ONE mow from the so called refurbished mower before discovering issues that were hidden by the seller at the time of the sale. The mower is inoperable and now my friend is out $175 and without a functioning mower. Total crooks...and by looking at their reviews they've been scamming folks a long time.

Buyer beware. The owner's idea of refurbished is a new paint job. Sells junk and rips people off. When approached concerning the problem instead of doing what he can to rectify the situation he implies that the problem is the customer's fault. Gone are the days of customer service. Customer service will make or break a business.

These are dishonest, dishonorable people who deceived a friend of mine, sold him junk, and ripped him off. I'd go elsewhere.

Crooks. I needed a mower, and since I'm tight, I scoured FB land and found this dude named Chris Penn at 2 Brothers Reclamation who advertises that he sells refurbished mowers. After some discussion at his shop, I settled on a mower and it started with one light pull of the cord. I gave it a look over, but Chris was so convincing and just so damn likable, I mostly gave him the benefit of the doubt. I checked the fuel tank and it had barely any gas, but I figured that was normal practice for a seller, so I gave Chris $175 and we loaded it up. Chris shook my hand. I bought from Chris specifically because he advertised as refurbished. There is little out there that I hate more than working on internal combustion engines. When I bought the mower, I signed a "no warranty" agreement as Chris requested. I understand the need for a "no-warranty" contract and believe this was reasonable for a used mower. I also understand the unspoken "good faith" agreement between buyer and seller. I honor that agreement in every transaction, no matter which side I'm on, and thought it was part of this deal, too. I drove off smiling. I'd saved $100 compared to a new mower and supported a local small businessman. It felt good. But some folks don't understand the unspoken "good faith" agreement. Chris Penn does not. Or maybe he just doesn't care about it. The next morning, I discovered that Chris and I disagreed on what the term "refurbished" means. As I filled the tank with gasoline, it poured from the carburetor and the line leading from the tank to the carburetor. I called Chris (he would not answer my cell after several tries but picked up immediately when I called from a landline) and told him that while I understood that there was no warranty, I also understood that this was a refurbished mower and did not expect to do any maintenance before I even mowed with it one time. Chris offered some thoughts on what the problem could be and then wished me luck in fixing it. When I asked him what to do if this did not fix it, and, again, that I understood that this was a refurbished mower and ready to go (his words during the transaction) he reminded me that I had signed a no-warranty contract. I told Chris that I would let everyone know how he does business. Chris hung up. When a seller makes a claim that does not turn out to be true, rectification in some form -- besides stating the obvious and wishing luck in dealing with the lie -- is due. I'm a reasonable person. I never asked for a refund. I just wanted Chris to work with me to make it right in some way. And this wasn't an either/or zero-sum interaction. We could both come out winners. Chris could have gained more business from me. But Chris just wanted the $175.
