I received a check from my friend in Miami. The amount was $2523. She paid $3000 for the check, and it was from Email-a-check. It is a good check. I would not be in there trying to cash it if it were not. I took it to the cashier, and she took one look at it say she had never seen a check like that before and refused to cash it. She then called Terry i guess he is the night manager he is still has his braces on. He refused to cash it also. My friend is in Miami without funds or food simply because the workers have not seen a check like that before. The only difference in the check and a bank check is that i printed in on my home computer printer. The Routing number and the account number are clearly on the check. It is a good check. I told the cashier i could write a check on a leaf and if the account number routing number and signature are good the leaf is a good check. I am so disappointed in Walmart. You basically called me a liar and a scammer and a fraud for trying to pass bad checks. I don't like or appreciate the implications. I would not be in the store with my real name and real driver's license trying to cash a fraud check. it was a holiday weekend and banks are closed. But i know you don't care.

Monticello isn't a very big town but it's big enough to rate a full-sized Walmart Supercenter. That's a good thing because there really isn't too much else here. It is a good one with the usual departments including clothing, housewares, sporting goods, electronics, personal care, pharmacy and of course the full grocery section with produce and frozen. We were in here a couple of times to get stuff for kitting out my daughter's new apartment. We even bought too many curtain rods and had no problems returning the surplus for a complete credit on my credit card. Good shopping experience (for a Walmart) and a well stocked, organized store.
