The resort was very relaxing. We rented the kitchenette. It was perfect for the 2 of us. There were small things I could knit pick about, but I am not high maintenance and it didn’t affect our stay.Fishing was terrible, but that’s not Anglers fault. We drove up to Calico Rock and over to Mirror Lake. Still caught nothing.Ate dinner at Anglers restaurant. It was very pleasing. We had catfish and trout. Smaller quantities than most places, but we didn’t have to take leftovers home.Definitely wished they had a fire pit out back. That would have topped off the week.

This is one of the nicer restaurants in the area, but they need to address this for sure. When you order baked potato as your side, you get one free whipped butter and sour cream packet. The menu states it's $3.99 to add loaded to your baked potato - the typical charge of one dollar to two at any nice restaurant. I asked the waitress what made this so special for the cheese, bacon and chives to equate to $3.99. She explained that they grate the cheese themselves, and that she really felt like they charge too much too. I ordered it and expected it to be plenty for my potato. I received less than a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese, less than a teaspoon of crumbled bacon, and less than a half teaspoon of chives. I asked her if this was the normal amount and she shook her head. I said this does not make me happy for four dollars to get 25cents worth of toppings. She agreed to take it back and get more for me. She took my potato to the kitchen, and when she returned, I got that amount added again still nowhere near what you would get at a typical restaurant. So my advice to anyone wanting a stuffed baked potato: choose another restaurant and if you're at this restaurant, get the fries. Sidenote the crabcakes were delicious. The view is great.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They had a decent amount of gluten free options. They were not listed that way on the menu, but the manager was happy to come out and discuss what they could do. Everything tasted fantastic and I definitely recommend and will go back next time I am in the area.

Food is decently, priced, taste good, but not five stars. Ambience is five stars, looking over the river is gorgeous the service was good as well. Probably the best restaurant in this area of Mountain View, but not a five star restaurant anywhere else.

The catfish is delightful and the burgers are amazing. Homemade cheese sticks are a delight and the turtle cheesecake and Italian cream cake will have your taste buds begging for more!!

Had dinner at restaurant food was good a little salty. The front part of the restaurant was slow and disorganized, but the wait staff was professional.

For the price it really needs some attention. A good property cleanup to start. The parking area for the cabins was overgrown in some areas. There is an abandoned shuttle bus returning to nature in the corner. The cabin sit on stilts and the outside lights were burned out making them treacherous at night. Our cabin had trim that was pulling up and there were cobwebs in the ceiling. The room was clean and well equipped and had a beautiful view of the river. The main lodge/restaurant area was clean and the staff friendly. Food price were great for a resort. The food itself was average and the service was slow. WiFi is free but the cabins are mostly constructed of metal which makes for a very weak signal. I’m not saying to avoid this place, just saying that it needs some attention.
