Thanks to Jeremy Sampson and the George Kell service team for securing a thermostat for my GMC Acadia. We were traveling from Arkansas back home in Indiana. When the part arrived, the service specialist worked through his lunch to get the part installed and us back on the road. Great service!!!

I am a 74 year old woman who was shopping for a 2023 Chevy Bolt. I found one on the lot of a local dealership, but when I arrived to test drive it, I was told it had just been sold. The salesman then guided me through the ordering process for another Bolt, and then told me they would be adding $3,000 “market value fee” to the sticker price because this car was in high demand. When I questioned the salesman about the extra fee, he added that all the dealerships were doing this. I naively took his word, and went ahead with the order, leaving a $1000 deposit.A few days later, I found a Bolt listed online on the lot at George Kell motors, a dealership 100 miles away, and started emailing one of their salespeople, Harmony Tatwater. I asked about the “market value” fee to see if they were also adding it to the sticker price. I was assured by Harmony that they were not. Still skeptical, I asked if she could get the manager to send me something in writing signed by him to assure me there would not be any surprises on the final price. She said that was possible and I soon received it as an attachment to an email.Not one to back out of an agreement, I struggled with my choice of either canceling my initial local order or driving 100 miles to buy the car at George Kell Motors. Harmony and I continued to exchange emails for about two weeks while she answered all the questions I sent her way. I have to say Harmony's customer service was outstanding. She was honest, patient, very accomodating to all my requests, and understanding of my situation, saying it was her job to help. Her caring attitude finally won me over and I decided to forego the $1,000 deposit I left with the local dealer and made the 100 mile drive to Newport. I have never regretted my decision; it was worth the trip. Because there was no extra fee tacked on to the sticker price, I actually received 2 additional features in the Bolt from Newport and paid less than I would have at the first dealership. Ms. Tatwater lived up to her name. She brought harmony back to my state of mind and I'm now enjoying my new Chevy Bolt. Harmony's excellent customer service resulted in my very positive experience at George Kell Motors. I definitely recommend this Chevy dealership and its wonderful staff.
