I don't even drink, I'm not gonna lie. I used to work here and I got addicted to the beef jerky. It became a problem, much like drinking can. So, I don't go there much anymore, but I am sure there's probably the same couple of people from when I was there. It's like a close knit family up there. They always make your visit personal especially if you are a regular (which should be the norm if you work with the public but I rarely see that kind of thing anymore). All in all Old River is cheaper, friendlier, cleaner, more efficient and more knowledgeable than the other venues in that area.

Little lady helping me was very knowledgeable and friendly. As a non drinker she helped me find the right stuff to (attempt to) make vanilla extract. We just came in on the right night!
