New update: they credited me 200.00 of the 300.00 I had to pay, I will say it again DO NOT book with AVIS, try someone else, they turned my trip upside down after planning it a year in advance. Do not believe "Plan with confidence. Because for 75 years, we've only had one plan. To make sure you keep yours. Start your Avis Experience today!" That is NOT true.DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT rent here! I would give them zero stars if possible. I booked a transit van almost a complete year in advance, 4 hours before pickup I'm called and told they don't have the vehicle available or anything else for me. Eventually I'm told they can give me a minivan, but I have to pay the extra money it will cost, passed me around on the phone to no fewer than 4 people, the last of which assured me no one could adjust the price for me. This of course is not true because I've had it done numerous times on travel when the vehicle reserved is not available. This left me scrambling to find a vehicle for 10 passengers that needed to leave at 2am to make it to our destination and important meetings on time. Of course, I wasn't able to, had to pay 300.00 extra for a rental through budget for 730am. Explained all of this to Avis customer service and after several "we are sorry'" When ask for at least being given back the 300 extra I had to spend. I was told they couldn't do it because I didn't rebook with Avis. They literally work out of the same desk at our airport. You pick up budget rentals ant the Avis counter and vice versa. This was my worst experience with a rental car company ever. Felt like a bait and switch, reserve at one price, then when it's too late for you to do much else, tell you that vehicle isn't available, but I can give you something (smaller I might add) for almost twice as much. They knew I couldn't change my trip completely on that short of notice.UPDATE: I did contact Avis through the message below. I promise I cannot make this up.They can give me 100.00 back but not the whole 300.00 because I booked budget instead of AVIS. I am telling you guys DO NOT use them, this is crazy. I didn't book again with them because AVIS customer service said nothing could be done on adjusting the price. NOW it's well we would adjust it, but you didn't rebook with us.

I have been Avis Preferred for over 30 years. Every time I come to Little Rock (once a year) it’s the same thing, no cars and an incredibly long wait as they wait for returns to wash and get them ready for rental. 2 1/2 hours to get a car. This location should just shut down as they destroy Avis’ reputation. If I could rate as a zero I would have.

Repeatedly unable to contact the direct location - we have tried calling McCain Mall for direct contact ,no luck. We have tried all of the customer service numbers ,etc, no luck. The customer support through their customer service line is horrible - the representatives are rude and unwilling to help. We will never rent from any Avis location again.

Car wreaked of cigarette smoke. We weren’t offered other an alternatives, so we spent lots of time and money trying to deodorize the vehicle. Returned the car a week later only to be threatened with a cleaning fee!

This one was too far from the airport and took too long to get a car. Little Rock is not a great place for car rentals.

Person that worked there didn't even try to take my credit card and when he finally did he told me it was declined and couldn't run my card again for another 24 hours just disgustingly poor customer service

We had the absolute west experience with AVIS for two straight days. But, these guys! These guys went above and beyond for us to get us back on the road. Mario and Phil are definitely the guys to see if going through AVIS. They actually car. If he isn't already, Mario needs to be a manager and/promoted in the company. Take pride in employees like him. Without them, AVIS would be the absolute worst choice for rental cars.

Made a reservation and paid in advance and when the time came, they had no cars. I'm understanding. I know things happen, so they ensured they could have me a car the next morning. I double checked to make sure it was good. So I come up the next morning for my reservation and yet again there is nothing available. The rep at the counter told me there was nothing he could do and no one he could call. The representative on the phone said they wanted to charge me AGAIN to pick up at a different location despite this being their mess up. Than he had the nerve to catch an attitude with me. I'll never use this company. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.
