I haven’t been here in a while and talk about changes! Items are extremely overpriced. I understand inflation but these items were donated! I saw the plastic cups Hideaway Pizza gives away for over 3 bucks! What tops it, this location is selling USPS boxes! That’s illegal! Definitely, Greedwill!

Went in for a big pot and lid. Found everything but...not a big pot in the place. I did notice it was much cleaner in there than ever before. Like someone has been working hard to get it looking alot nicer. Maybe they buffed floors or something...idk. Was much more organized, except toys aisle....understandably. Rest was straightened and very shoppable. Good work!

The guys that take the donations at the Goodwill on JFK are super kind and joyful. I always feel super appreciated when I drop stuff off there.

There's a lot of great items in here and I understand with inflation, everything goes up. It has to, however, may I ask why you can't try on clothes before you buy them? It's nearly impossible to buy jeans without trying them on. I'm stuck with 2 pair because I wasn't given a receipt at the counter (I normally throw them away anyway lol) but I didn't think anything of it. They still have the tag on them but I literally spent money for nothing!

No fitting rooms. Ugh! I can’t buy without trying things on first and don’t live near any Goodwill stores, so returns are not practical.

This is reminiscent of an old skool Goodwill. The store is big and packed full.

The store is not clean or organized. The staff seem overworked and not friendly. I donated a bunch of good quality clothes and bedding. Had to ask for a receipt. On Connecticut we were given a discount coupon to shop. Not here. One of the donations was a queen size Christmas comforter set and a known brand worth used $150. A I went in the store and paid $4 for a dented bundt pan. Won't go back.

i remove the tags from the clothes and wash them. some of them were to small for my kids. I took them back exchange them. I had my receipt. they didn't let me. i understand the tags was off. i feel like is is very unfair. i brought the clothes with my hard earned money. and the same day i donate 3 bags of clothes never again will i go back to this store. thas not how you treat guess. yall should put that on the front door before folks walk in what the policy is. yall could have at least let me exchange. things need to change

I was being chased and harassed going into the goodwill, when i told the employees they took me into the back and checked the store and parking lot to make sure i was safe, they were ready to call the cops and the manager even walked me to my car. i am so thankful for them!

I am on vacation this week so I thought a visit to Goodwill was in order. A few minutes of browsing around and I thought I was loosing my mind! This store is like shopping in upper Manhattan!!! A DONATED off brand shirt is almost 10 bucks! I saw a FREE Hideaway Pizza cup they were selling for almost 4 bucks! The color bargains is something I always enjoyed. They are no longer using color labels. The word “green” or “yellow” is printed as text without color on a price label. The words are so small I had to pull my glasses out to read. I overheard others in the store talking about the prices too. My wife said this store is too expensive for used stuff and left empty handed. She’s one that usually spends a lot. I came here to see if others are experiencing this and I’m glad to see it’s not just me. From the reviews it seems this just happened. The one review was responded with, ((( we must adjust our pricing to offset the costs of rising expenses for our operational goods and services ))) that’s a bunch of bologna and a bad PR response! Isn’t Goodwill a nonprofit? It’s not like you are raising the prices 25-50 cents but several dollars. That changes things from a consumer prospective. These programs offered and I read your websites goal and mission because I have been a donor and I have given a lot to Goodwill in the past decade and I wanted to understand this large uptick in prices. I’m a furious donor! As I just mentioned, Goodwill is a nonprofit and even now in hard times people are still donating funds to support your community based programs. Many donate DONATED items to help others who don’t have much. The “handful” of people who are financially well who visit will not be enough to keep you open. Majority of the customers can’t afford the new ludicrous prices. Seeing the free Hideway Pizza cup being sold for almost 4 bucks was enough. Another review I read mentioned computer labels. Rising costs you say? Those computer labels will cost more to print. I too, walked out empty handed. I refuse to pay these prices. I’ll go to Target and get them brand new or go to Hideaway and get my free cup with unlimited refills that are cheaper than a used cup at your store. Because of what I am witnessing this non-profit doing when people need items the most, I will be donating and getting my tax slip somewhere else. I will be looking into filing a 13909 complaint because I feel you are taking advantage of people and using a lame excuse.I’ll also be sharing this news with others who shop at your store so they are not taken for surprise like I was today and those who I know who donate to help others. I’m upset, I work hard for what I purchase and when I donate my goods to help others that’s what I expect to see happen. Not drain the poor even poorer when they need a shirt or household items. I end this review with some old fashion advice, keep your customers happy and they will come back for more. Keep your customers unhappy they will go somewhere else!
