“I havent stayed yet, and will update my review later if needed after my stay, but I would just like to take a moment to speak to the WAKAAN fam to please treat this buisness, and all other mom and pop inns like this in the area with respect and not trash the place. This isnt a large corporation this is a person's lively hood. So lets be mindful of the impact we leave on the local businesses, and the people who run them. I was kinda rude by blowing up the phone here a minute ago to confirm a reservation. And the owner called me back and politely explained he was busy with another customer. To whom I apologize if he sees this. He then confirmed my booking. Made me chuckle and said our goodbyes. Let's save the raging for the mountain, not the mountain folk. And be respectful of others property. Thanks”

“I stayed at 3 different motel 6 locations traveling South from Cody, by far this one was absolutely the best. I had a new king bed, workspace with great chair, an arm chair to relax in, nice big screen tv with loads of channels and movies. Definitely as good as some other hotel brands and for the price I couldn't beat it”

“I was on my way back to Oklahoma last week from vacationing in the Carolinas when I decided to stay here for the night. The wind on the highway was so bad everyone was literally going 60 mph in a 75. I pulled over several times to rest and I saw a truck pulling an RV almost blew off the road and he finally pulled over. Semi trucks were going 60. I pulled over at a Rest Stop and looked online for lodging close by and found this place.

Reviews were pretty good and I wasn't looking for anything fancy since I was leaving the next day. From the outside it reminded me of this horrible place I stayed in Texas , but I was surprised how nice and clean it was on the inside. It was also very quite at night even though it seemed most of the rooms were taken. Next door is Roma Italian Restaurant and wow it was really good for a small town Italian restaurant and the service was good and they were busy.

I stayed in room 117 with a King Bed , Bathroom with Tub / Shower Combo , Microwave , TV with Cable and YouTube , Mini Refrig , Coffee Maker , Wall Mounted Hairdryer , Lots of Towels , and Clean. Some of the furniture was a little old , but in good condition. The couch did have a large noticeable stain that looked like they tried to clean before , but it's in the material. Bed was firm , but not too firm so I slept pretty good and I was exhausted and full from dinner. The price is very reasonable for how clean and well maintained it is. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The town is small with a Walmart and some shops downtown. I drove to one of the camping areas by the river before I left to check it out. This is an area to enjoy the outdoors , fishing , boating , kayak , etc. I will come back to visit again with my son and his wife. My first time to Arkansas. In July I'm meeting with some old Army buddies for a reunion in Hot Springs , Arkansas.”
