Mount Magazine State Park is an absolutely beautiful and gorgeous area with spectacular and expansive views from its lookouts. It offers great overnight opportunities at its beautiful and serene lodge, where nights feature starry skies and wild animals on the grounds. The campground is lovely, fantastic, clean, and spread out, with good shower facilities. The temperature is cooler at this highest point in Arkansas, making for lovely camping. Activities include horseback riding, biking, and hiking trails like the Signal Hill Trail to Arkansas' highest point. The lodge provides excellent dining. It is a perfect place to visit in the spring or fall.
Gorgeous! Lodge is beautiful. It was a perfect day to visit - no crowds and cooler temps. I bet it is absolutely gorgeous in the fall.

Great views from this state park. Few nice lookouts with views. Great overnight opportunity at the new lodge to enjoy beautiful serene nights with starry skies and wild animals on the grounds of the hotel after night falls

Lovely place to camp! One thing I really enjoy is that the temperature is cooler up here. Makes sleeping in a tent at night lovely.
