The Hitchin' Post is a small, family business offering a unique and welcoming environment. The store hosts a range of amazing, unique, and cool items, from antiques and vintage goods to a jaw-dropping collection of crystals, rocks, and minerals. Visitors enjoy interacting with the friendly owners and seeing their pet birds, flying squirrel, and dog. The business also serves food, with deep-fried Hoosier staples like hand-breaded fish and tenderloin hitting the mark. Their weekend brunch features excellent homemade sausage gravy, with care and pride taken in the food. Live music is offered, and debit cards are accepted. It is a pleasant and unique experience with very unique findings.
This place is exactly like something you would see on American pickers. If you like antique tools especially the back patio has a HUGE selection of old ratchets, sockets, screw drivers, and wrenchs of literally every size you can think of.

It had so much stuff! Warm,Down home atmosphere! Caroline took the time out of her day to show me and my husband around the whole store! Every item that she showed to us had a wonderful story to go along with it!
