This like the worse place I've been in pine bluff Arkansas, I mean when I first came here 2 years ago doing the pandemic I was low on food so I went there and then the lady over the food attitude was highly uncomfortable and nasty towards people the way she talks and respond to a person, the slick insults like she a boss.so I stop going cause of her,so today I was out of bread so I went keep from going to store and the shi free..they act like just cause it's free they can talk to u any type of way.so when I came in she gave me a 22 yellow and few minutes later a 28 yellow for a water melon, so I ask why a 22 yellow and a 28 cause I know blue numbers is for food bags she looked at me rolled her eyes and ignored me, so I'm seeing how she talking to these old people is unacceptable. She really has a nasty attitude, I'll never go there again not even for bread.,I see why the homeless people don't even go there and few people who was there said the same.i didn't even want it after all that I gave the tickets away to old lady and the cake to some man I didn't even want the food ..sometimes you gotta let people know you not a dog keep ya cakes I'm not desperate..which I've noticed this about all black women with a Lil rank here in Arkansas. But I understand they never had nothing so when they do get a Lil position they get besides they self.ill rather go get help from white people cause of people like her..

Great place if you need help but not to work for unless you are willing to do what it takes to keep the shelter up and running.

Food pantry was a life saver. Funds are short, so the food was a blessing.

Only offer 3 days bed. Kind of run like a mini-homeless jail. Questionable staff and how it is run. They need more help there and don't have enough. Only a small part of the general population know about it. Plus they sometimes put people through paperwork, ID checks, you name it. A shelter is a shelter not a jail and food for few and some and not all. Questionable religious indoctrination as well.
