Waiting for a register is usually quick. The staff is there and will quickly assist if needed, with some customer service personnel actively checking on people. However, experiences with employees vary; some are very fast and ready to help, while others need better education on customer service, sometimes ignoring customers or using inexcusable language. Overall, it is seen as a place to save money, though the store is not always described as friendly.

There is always long lines to check out . Not everyone wants to use the self checkout . And if you need to ask an employee something they act as if that isn't their job .
