Let's be real for a minute. If your cheeseburger doesn't leave a little mess behind on your face, you're eating the wrong kind of cheeseburger. This place is so good! Creative spins on classic burgers as well as traditional takes for those hesitant to step outside the box. They have monthly special burgers: August 2018 was the Route 66, which is a jacked up Big Mac, but 1000x better. Huge choice of beers and shakes. My German hubby was speechless with the Nutella shake, and that takes a lot! We've been talking about going back since before we left the building. Hip atmosphere and great music make this place perfect for a date, a break from shopping, or when you're craving a juicy delicious mess!

This place was awesome! They have a vegan falafel patty you can substitute, and it was delicious! The rest of my party has turkey and beef burgers and stated they were very good! Their buns are light and not too heavy. The burger by itself it enough to fill you up. The staff was very friendly and atmosphere was inviting and fun!

This place has fantastic food. I enjoy the state fair fries (essentially chili cheese fries with some high class). I also love the burgers. It is a bit expensive. The burgers are around 10-15$ but do no come with fries. However, fries and potato chips are homemade.

We wandered in rather close to closing time on a Thursday evening, after a long day on the road. Despite the late hour, we were warmly greeted and immediately shown to a table. Throughout our entire visit, we felt treated like royalty. Our waitress was super friendly and happy we'd come so far to eat at Big Orange. She made some excellent suggestions, and even sent some swag and coupons with us when we left.
I ordered the homemade lemon/limeade, and my friend had her first glass of sweet tea for our road trip to the south. Both were refreshing and delicious.
We had scoped this place out partly because of their veggie burger, as a vegetarian I love finding a place that doesn't just slap a Boca patty on it and call it good. Big Orange's veggie burger is made in house and has a delightful kick to it. According to our waitress, the level of spice varies depending on who is making the burger batch that day. I love that.
My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and wow...she gave me a piece of the breading to try, and it definitely cleared my sinuses! Lives up to its name, for sure. We shared some house-made chips for a side, and they were really good as well.
I was really impressed by the friendly atmosphere and all the the made from scratch options at Big Orange. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and would probably order a shake next time too. They looked amazing...

Logistics: I'd recommend parking in the lot at the front of Pinnacle (nearest to Pottery Barn and Houlihans), then walking over to Big Orange (rather than trying to park alongside the shoppers). On almost every occasion I've visited, we've had to wait for a table, so be prepared for that. The other logistics note I'd have is that it feels like there is almost a little too much crammed in there. I typically see folks I know, and if you stop to talk to someone in a booth, you're constantly in the way of servers or other patrons passing by. If you linger by tables at the bar, or the bar itself, you will probably also be in the way of someone. The servers can be a bit snippy about this (which I appreciate, as there is always someone in their way), but it feels like they could have created a little more space for navigating around the restaurant more comfortably.
Food: Having said all of that above, I do enjoy the food (and beverages) at Big Orange. Burgers don't come with fries, but an order of fries is enough to share - the truffle fries are my favorite. I recently had the Mushroom Melt, and it might be my new burger pick there. I do wish they had a few more appetizer-y items, as their drink specials for happy hour are great, but munchies are limited.
