It’s sad I can’t leave zero (0) stars. I called the main customer service and they sent me to this store. My mom went into a Nursing Home, and doesn’t need the equipment for internet or cable anymore. This store refused to give me a receipt for the equipment or help me in anyway because I didn’t know her 4 digit PIN number. All I wanted to do was drop of the equipment and get a receipt showing it. The clerk there said they could take the box but not give a receipt. I was like NO.. I will just toss it in the trash. But he did ask about me paying my mom’s bill for $91…. Who are they really going to bill and go after.. my mom is in a nursing home and has no assets to speak of. Let them go to collection. Very unhelpful, and rude, especially when I am trying to do the right thing.

UPDATE: Cox customer service went to great lengths to address the billing errors, and they were corrected to my immense satisfaction. Thank you, all. My original post: A Kafkaesque nightmare. Spoke with Emanuel, very nice. Activated a phone bought from Cox over the phone. Just an extra line. Was told my total would go from 57 to 69. A few days later, I received an email from Asurion, telling me I had purchased phone insurance. Called to correct this mistake...I got Emanuel over the phone. Recognized his voice right away and referenced my visit to the store 2 days ago. He repeatedly denied helping me, saying it was not him. Anyway...no matter, I tried to move on...blame was never the point. Inquired into fixing the Insurance I never purchased, and checked on my total monthly bill. Good old Emanuel put me on hold for 25 minutes. He never came back. Finally hung up. No phone call from Emanuel. I finally called back, and went right back to more defensive protestations from my buddy Emanuel.
My monthly bill went up from $69 to $104. Rather than fixing it, he just continued to explain how this couldn't have happened!
I don't know if it is this individual, or if Cox in general is behind these fraudulent upselling practices. Shutting off Cox, and will be filing with BBB. Thanks, Emanuel! What a scam! What a company!

Unacceptable practices and procedures. I called to request shutting off my services when I moved in November 2023, and even stopped by this location to ensure everything with my account was closed out. It wasn’t until the tornado hit in Rogers that I got a notification of internet being out, that I noticed I was still being billed for a service I wasn’t using for over 6 months. I then spent days communicating with the Cox customer service team and they basically just said “idk, sorry,” and STILL wouldn’t shut off the billing or refund me any of my money, even after they saw I had used 0 data. So I removed any and all payment options on my account to further prevent anymore of this scam, and now they are attempting to send a collection agency after me for amounts due for a service that hasn’t been provided in almost a year. Take your business anywhere but here, you’ll be much better off.
Update: Don’t let the Cox reply under this deceive you, I reached out to them yet again and nobody has reached out to me about any solution. This is the absolute worst attempt at customer service I’ve ever seen by a company.

Worst prices and worst experience ever charging me 100$ just for Internet and it still lags ever single day and don't get me started on the employees they told me once the wifi lagging was my fault.worst company ever don't waste your money with there idiots.

Cox is a terrible internet service provider. There are outtages all the time for no reason. And you can't ever talk to a real person about it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE OTHER CHOICES YOU WILL REGRET IT

After 10 years doing business with cox, I sold my business and a month later received an email from them stating I was due a credit due to the outage after the recent tornado. I called them to make sure the credit came to me and not the new owner. Cox informed me they would not send me the credit because I no longer owned the business. I will never do business with Cox again!

Worst service ever and forever!! They over charge for internet service and it is never connected. But faithfully pay my $135 a month to have internet. It blinks out daily sometimes hours and sometimes days!!

A big Thanks to Emanual for helping my husband and I with our phones! We had been unable to make calls unless we used Wifi calling since the recent bad storm. He was able to not only show us how to fix the problem but was very kind and thoughtful!
