Zero stars if it was possible. This place is completely mismanaged. I put in an application almost 3 months prior to this, did follow ups to see if they reviewed it. On top of being rude when I called, they would hang up randomly and deny my application. This morning I receive a call from a number not linked to this store, assuredly just an employees number. They use my name without identifying themselves and when I ask who it is, they say it's dollar general calling about an interview. Apparently though asking who's calling is rude, so they proceeded to hang up and block my number. This store is completely mismanaged and as someone with over 3 years in food and grocery business, I recognize the disorganization of both the products in the store and the employee network system. Won't be shopping here again. Will be telling everyone I know to go to the one in Roger's.

Customer service must not be a thing that anyone caress about anymore. Doing the nice greeting myself, I asked how the person at the register is doing. I get, "ugh, it could be better." So, to ease the awkwardness, I said, "well, maybe it will get there." And the reply back is, "No, no it won't.". You know, I was about an inch away from asking for a refund and telling them that I'll just go somewhere else, because I was obviously in their way of doing whatever they needed to do...as they forgot that they needed to push a button to accept my debit card.

Been going to this doller general since I was a kid. Alwase nice. But this time I bought a pack of hostess donuts and it was a month expired.... made me sad. :(

I've been here a few times on camping trips, and they have essentials. It's a bit pricey for some items, though.
